Characters: Ethan Ashford & Arlette Yuen-Winchester Time: 6:02 PM Location: Restaurants (continuation from this thread) Ethan gently took Arlette’s hand and placed it on top of his arm, while his hands were stuffed into his jacket pocket. While accompanying her through the walk, Ethan glanced at a few restaurants to see if he could decide on anything agreeable or exceptional to their taste buds. Not knowing too much about what Arlette enjoys, he’d probably have to go with from his experiences from the past with this one. As the streets began to grow in crowds, Ethan pulled her arm slightly closer towards him and made slid her courteously away from the streets and pointed on about at the restaurants. “Would you like pasta? Or, pizza maybe? How about we go sushi? Ah – I’m sorry, am I bombarding you with options?” He laughed carelessly. It seems as though he was a little hasty this evening, maybe since it’s been a while he was out with such a gorgeous young lady like herself. “Other than what I’ve named, is there anything you have in mind, Arlette?” He smiled, purposely dropping the honorific.

As if he'd stepped out of the Victorian Era or something, Ethan took Arlette's hand, gently, and then her hand was resting on his arm. Not that she minded; it was sweet.
As they walked further, and the amount of people on the streets began to swell, the boy pulled her closer, and Arlette could feel the boy's warmth. They made their way out of the crowds, Arlette still holding onto Ethan, as they passed the restaurants around them, reflections of the boy and girl in the glass windows. “Would you like pasta? Or, pizza maybe? How about we go sushi? Ah – I’m sorry, am I bombarding you with options?”
"Don't worry about it!" Arlette laughed as a smile grew on her face, looking around. There were tons of restaurants and cafes and diners around, and she honestly didn't really know. "Other than what I’ve named, is there anything you have in mind, Arlette?” Ethan asked she as turned back to face him, listing off ideas in her mind. "Sushi sounds great; It's Japan, after all!" She gestured to a cafe-restaurant place with its sign in Kanji, and teenagers who looked their age walked in and out. "And I've never really had real Japanese food, so how about it?"

Daylight was slowly dimming around them and the street-lights began to gradually make their appearance to the crowds of people walking on both sides of the sidewalk. The autumn breeze blew gracefully over the two and slid a few strands of the male’s hair over naturally while he turned his head and nodded. “If that’s what you really want, than sushi it shall be.”
His head shot over towards the building where Arlette was directing him to; groups of teenagers and couples walking in and out, waiters and waitresses serving the customers who were sitting outside on the deck, the restaurant itself had a very dim and mysterious aura around it which attracted Ethan more towards it. The raven-haired physically turned his body over towards the restaurant and smiled without looking over towards her.
“I think you’ll enjoy Japanese cuisine very much. There's a lot more to it than just sushi, that's for sure. And it’s definitely different from our European style, but I personally think it’s delicious.”
As their distance grew shorter from their destination, Ethan slowly reached out for the door handle with his free arm and took the handle bar firmly. Ethan took a step closer, releasing their arms from each other naturally. As he opened the door, the jingles of the bells rang lightly above the two and the sweet melodic tunes of the restaurant began to flow out of the building. With a dazzling smile, Ethan gestured over towards the female with his free arm.
“Ladies first.” Ethan released the words in a calming manner over towards Arlette, inviting her in to the location of their dinner date.

"More than just sushi, and more delicious, eh?" Arlette smiled, possibly coyly, depending on how you looked at her, as she followed Ethan to the restaurant, "well I trust your good tastes."
Then, upon approaching the restaurant, Ethan smoothly broke away and held the door open, sending the hanging bells above ringing lightly. "Ladies first.” Certainly one who knew how to treat others, and well and that. As she walked in, Arlette lightly pushed away the sheets of cloth that hung from above, and the place was bathed in a dim but warm glow. It looked a bit smaller from the inside, but it looked cosy. "Table for two, please," Arlette asked a server, and the server lead them further inside.
