Character(s): Acting Majors Time: 10:00AM Location: Acting Classroom
If there was one time that Ayame actually felt vulnerable, it was when she didn't have her sword. Clearly, she wouldn't be allowed to have it with her in class, but she felt naked without it. The room was just starting to fill in, and she sat on her desk, gripping the sides, and swinging her feet.
Since it would just be a day of introductions, she took the time to look around at all the people walking in. Everyone looked the same, blurring into one big wave of sameness. She felt lost in the crowd, but she kept her composure, and continued to scan the room for someone familiar.
It wasn't worth it to pretend she wasn't looking for Ren, because she obviously was, but many people caught her attention. Some she'd seen before, and some that just stood out. But even so, as she saw on the top of her desk, observing her student body, she wished the most to see someone she knew. No one in particular, just someone familiar.

"Fuck my life." he groaned behind his bright red scarf that was covering half of his face. He dragged himself to class - each step getting slower, not looking forward to the hour and forty five minutes that was ahead of him. ACTING DIVISION CLASSROOMGlaring at the sign - almost tempted to kick the door down, he opened it rather quickly. Just like ripping off a band aid. What kind of retards were going to be in his class now? Last year he had persistent girls and guys that wouldn't stop talking to him and now - Ayame. He sighed heavier as their eyes met, taking off his scarf and sat down beside her. "I didn't know you... act." He laughed and looked at her stupidly; "You don't look like much of an actor at all." his small chuckle pleased him as his goal was to irritate her and hopefully making her leave. And then he suddenly remembered last night - the little argument they got into, and Ayame's tears. That sure wiped the smirk off of his face. Trying to avoid eye contact the best he could, he tried to stare at something else. The next hour and forty five minutes was sure going to be 'fun'.

Hiro made his way to his Acting Class as he got to the door, he saw a huge crowd filing in. He cursed quietly under his breath as he made his way into the center of the mob. Getting pushed and shoved by everyone, he really just wanted to start punching in every direction. Someone even pulled his ponytail to get in front of him...he pushed said person rather hard and then quickly made a break out of the group and into a line of empty desks. He got away with it, grinning to himself.
He looked around the room. All the desks at the back were currently being filled. Not like he really wanted to sit back there...from public school experience, he learned it's filled with the idiots.
He saw a couple of students a few seats back from where he was standing. He made his way back, taking the seat behind the girl. "You guys don't mind if I sit here, do ya?" He asked, setting his stuff down next to the chair and taking a seat, not really caring what their answers were. He didn't feel like rejoining the crowd to sit somewhere else.

"Well speak of the devil," she muttered under her breath as Ren walked in.
Even when he was being a jerk, she couldn't get mad at him. "You don't look like much of an actor at all." he remarked, giving her that look he always gave her when he underestimated her, which was often.
"And you don't look like much of a decent person, but I didn't say anything, now did I, Yukio?" she replied, smiling sweetly as he sat down beside her, looking away.
Just as she was about to add something else, a shorter boy with long lemony hair walked up behind her and took a seat. "You guys don't mind if I sit here, do ya?"
Ayame grinned and turned to look at him. "Of course not. I'm Ayame, and this is Ren." He had a gruff exterior and serious eyes, but he seemed nice enough. "And who are you?"

"And you don't look like much of a decent person, but I didn't say anything, now did I, Yukio?" Ayame said with a very proud tone. Ren smiled, "Mmm, nice one, cry baby." As Ren was waiting for Ayame's next 'offensive' statement, a short boy walked by and sat behind her. He glared at him almost the whole time - he was a new face, that's for sure. For some reason he felt.. threatened.
As Ayame introduced the both of him he lost his train of thought. "Uh. Whatever. Yeah, I'm Ren." He turned away almost immediately, showing no interest. "You know what, blondie?" Ren said as he stood up.
"Take my seat. I'm in no mood to just sit here and listen to bullshit." He quickly grabbed his stuff and left.

Taking in the situation as he waited for their responses, Hiro felt a little uneasy. He was pretty sure he could cut the tension between the two in front of him with a knife. He felt he'd interrupted something.
The blonde girl in front of him, who he now knew as Ayame, was grinning rather brightly at him as she turned around. He wasn't quite sure what to think of it but just smiled back and answered her question, "Nice to meet you guys. I'm Hiroya, but you can just call me Hiro if you want."
Suddenly, Ren got up and left sounding rather irritated. Hiro raised an eyebrow, watching him leave, then looked back towards Ayame, confusion clear on his face, "Uhh...what was that all about?" he asked, tilting his head.

"Take my seat. I'm in no mood to just sit here and listen to bullshit." And then he was gone. It was a lot like Ren to disappear when things stopped going his way, but in this case, nothing had even happened. It was just like the way he disappeared when they were young. He'd storm off, eventually he'd calm down, but traces of anger would remain. It seemed that now, all that was left of him was anger that he'd never been able to calm. Ayame knew that there was more to Ren than outbursts and coldness, but she knew that this boy who had walked in by chance, didn't know a thing.
She turned and looked at the boy who introduced himself as Hiroya. He looked a bit confused, and almost annoyed. "Don't mind Ren, he's just like that." She tried to wipe the guilt and regret from her face. "Well actually, we had an argument last night. It was my fault anyway, so don't let his mood bother you."
She got down from the desk and sat in the chair, and spun around to face her new friend, if she could be so fast as to call him that. "Hiro, huh? What year?"

"Hi guys! I'm here at Aozora Academy, which all of you know is my school. And I'm about to enter my first class of the semester... acting! I mean, I guess it's pretty cool. It is my major after all. Still isn't as interestin' as dugongs though. You know, dugongs? A really cool marine animal..."
Atticus's voice was loud and clear, and the teenager perfectly knew it. He was walking down the hallway towards his class, holding out a video camera in front of him. He was just recording for his next Youtube video blog, and he was pretty sure that Aozora's students were used to him doing this. It wasn't as if a lot of them understood what he was saying, right? After all, he always recorded his videos in English.
"So, yeah, that's a dugong! Remember now? Ah, look, I'm at class!~" Atticus sang, and the boy pushed open the door of the classroom to see several sittings already lounging around.
"Holy crap, guys!" Atticus suddenly said and rotated his camera so that it was now facing the other students of the classroom rather than at his face. "Look at that scarf!" Atticus dramatically pointed at Ren's neck. "Look at how red it is!" The teenager ran towards Ren without any other warning and grabbed the other boy's scarf just as he was leaving. He rubbed the fabric between his fingers until he finally let go to allow the other to leave.
"Leave a comment below on what shade of red you think it is!" Atticus shouted into the camera, "The most creative comment gets either a free T-shirt, a shoutout in my next video, or a stuffed plush of a dugong!" He stopped recording and placed the camera back into his bag.
"Hi! I'm Atticus!" he said cheerfully to the kids in the classroom, hoping that he wouldn't scare them. He had gotten multiple comments about how his serious expression deceived everyone about how his personality was like.

As Ren was walking away, he bumped into a crazy blonde kid with a video camera. Then he started touching his scarf. He seemed to be talking a different language, so Ren couldn't help but giving him a 'what the fuck are you doing?' look. Ren slapped the kid's hands away, "Don't touch me." -- he tried to say in good, clear english. He looked down into what was in his hands, and took almost all self control to not break that camera of his. "God damn, fucking people these days. ARE YOU FUCKING SERIOUS" he shouted as he stared at the kid as he continued talking to his camera. He was really annoyed now. He stormed off down the hall - walking heavily. He didn't care if everybody was staring at him. He was pissed.

Hiro heard Ayame out, sort of understand what she was talking about...but not really. "Well...if it's your fault like you say it is, have you apologized?" He thought about it for a second and his eyes widened. "I'm sorry...I shouldn't have said anything. It's none of my business." He closed his eyes, leaning his head forward a little, feeling kind of bad for just jumping into their situation when he barely knew either of them.
"Hiro, huh? What year?" Ayame asked him. "Yup! Hiro Kouno. I'm a third year. What year are-" He was suddenly interrupted by yelling at the front of the classroom.
He looked over to see Ren shouting at this blonde guy who was talking into a video camera and touching Ren's scarf. It was a bit of a odd picture. Ren left in a rage, leaving the room quiet. Suddenly, he heard the blonde guy speak up, "Hi! I'm Atticus!" the teen shouted to the whole class. Most people just laughed and went back to there own conversations. Hiro found it rather amusing and shouted back to him, "Hey, Atticus! I'm Hiro!" He waved up to Atticus in greeting.
Such an unusual first class. But...then again, should he have expected it to be anything like public school? Probably not.

"I'm sorry...I shouldn't have said anything. It's none of my business." Hiro closed his eyes and leaned forward.
"Hey hey, don't worry! I tried to but well... he did exactly what he did just now." she explained, biting at the ends of her hair.
Just as she was about to answer him, a loud eruption sounded in the back of the class. And it just so figured that Ren was involved. A loud-mouthed boy with messy hair and a video camera was getting on his nerves, until finally, he exploded like he always did, and disappeared into the hall.
This time, he seemed more upset than usual, and it worried Ayame to the point that she was forced from her seat in front of Hiroya. "Sorry, Hiro," she mumbled, running out after Ren.
"Ren!" she called. "Ren!"

"Dontu toochu me."
"Alright~" laughed Atticus not unkindly, "I won't toochu you!" The older boy merely watched as Pretty-Scarf Boy stalked out of the room cursing in Japanese. Before Atticus could say anything else, the girl in the room chased after Pretty-Scarf Boy.
"Hah, guess it's just you and me now, eh? Until rest of the class comes along, anyways!" Atticus cheerfully said to Hiro, "And hi Hiro! Eh, your name sounds familiar..." Without saying another word, Atticus took the seat next to Hiro and brought out a crumpled piece of paper from the pocket of his blazer.
"Oh, that's right! You're my roommate, aren't you? Nice to meet you!" Atticus said, sticking out a hand for the other to shake, "And do you know what's going on back there with Pretty-Scarf Boy and blondie?"

"Sorry, Hiro," was all he heard. He was going to say something, his mouth opened but before anything could come out, she was gone, shouting out for Ren. 'Well, so much for class,' he thought.
He focused his attention back to Atticus, just in time to catch the start of the conversation. "Haha yeah, I suppose so." He looked around the room. There were a couple groups of students scattered here and there...but not a lot of people were in the room. There were a lot of open seats. He wondered how many more students would be there. "Looks like it'll be a big class too! Unless they just throw a random amount of desks in each room."
"Familiar...?" He watched, confused, as Atticus looked over the paper. "Roommate? Really?" He reached into his, almost empty, bag sitting next to him and pulled out his information sheet and looked it over. Sure enough, he'd missed it at the bottom 'Room: 10A with Atticus Finnigan.' He leaned on his arm on the desk. "Wow, how did I miss that?" He sighed, then laughed. "Well, nice to meet ya too, buddy!" He sat back up and shook his new roomie's hand.
"Uhhh...not really. Except 'Pretty-Scarf Boy' is easily angered...and apparently 'blondie' made him mad." He shrugged. It sounded like a lame explanation but that's really all he knew.

"Just throw some random desks into the room?!" Atticus asked, shaking his head in disbelief. "That's unheard of! Do you know what I and so many other people could do with all these desks?! We could build so many things! And some beetles in Indonesia love this type of specific wood material that these desks are made out of... oh the things society could do with all of these unused desks! Wasting them is just unheard of." Atticus shook his head once more to show his emphasis on the situation. He had rambled again -- but that was perfectly normal for the boy to do.
"Aha, guess I'm seein' you again tonight then!" Atticus said, grinning widely. "Ah... no innuendo intended." he added as a second thought, giving a nervous chuckle. "Always glad to meet more friends." The blonde boy nodded enthusiastically.
"And, really?" he asked, suddenly more interested in the conversation. "Sound like they're having some pretty serious drama. Hope they work it out and stuff..." Atticus trailed off. "Oh! Have you always been in the acting division? I don't recognize you!" Atticus was just a never-ending talk machine - he was able to converse about anything and everything. It was just easy for him to talk, and he never got tired of it.

"Well...it's not unheard of. They placed pointless desks in my classes in my schools in America and the high school I went to here in Japan. They said it was 'in case we had transfers' but...that was...never." He sighed and went on, "I'm no nature enthusiast or anything but I agree that it's wrong. Trees produce oxygen which we need to live, right? Why waste them?" Wow. Where was this coming from? It was really not like him.
Hiro tried to stifle his laughter at Atticus's statement...but to no avail. He busted out laughing. Innuendo was just too funny...to him, at least. Hiro calmed down rather quickly, though. "Yeah, I suppose I will see you tonight." He resisted the urge to wink, even though it would be very funny. "Yeah, friends are good since I know 1...2...no people here. Well, I know you guys now. But still." He laughed.
"Yeah, I hope so too...I don't want to get in the middle of their situation but, I do hope they settle things." And just as the atmosphere of the conversation seemed dead, Atticus spoke back up. Hiro was glad someone could keep a conversation going...'cause it sure wasn't him.
"I've been in Acting for as long as I've been here...which is...today." He laughed a little, "I just transferred in this year. I applied to get in the past 2 years, but was denied acceptance. So I'm a third year transfer. That just might explain that." He grinned widely.
