Character(s): Kettaro Sawashiro, Yumiko Kameshiro, and everyone is welcome! (Don't be scared or timid! I really would love to rp with the unfamiliar faces I haven't rp'd with yet!) Time: 10 AM Location: Music Room
The bell for the next period rang and it was time for the daily sessions in the music room. Kettaro creeped his way down the hallway filled with students to get towards the music room. Once he passed and reached his destination, he opened the large door and felt a cool air rush past him. "Is it empty...? Holy-- this room is awesome! Haha~ ♪ " He skipped his way into the room, ditching the door. The blonde looked around the whole room, spinning with his arms open as if he was in a field of flowers.
"Maybe I could skip the rest of the day and stay in here..." And with that, he grabbed a guitar and started strumming a tune. He whistled the tune, not using his voice. Even though singing was what he was majoring in, he hardly sang when he entered into the academy. It didn't seem right to sing without anyone around to hear.
Then, he placed the guitar back where he got it and continued exploring the rest of the music room in awe. Kettaro jumped around and ran in bliss; exerting the energy that he suddenly had. He wasn't tired, so he continued checking everything out while skipping and twirling himself around.

Mayumi hadn't been to the music room since she met Kakeru, and, even though they had scheduled a practice, she was anxious to scope out the room again before hand. The last time she was there, Mayumi had only had eyes for the grand piano.
She hadn't expected anyone to be in there when she approached the door, but, through the windows, she could see an unfamiliar blonde running and jumping about. He looked immensely excited. It was a feeling Mayumi knew well, a feeling the music room gave to her.
Briefly, she considered knocking on the door. She remembered how she had felt when she had been snuck up on while playing, and it wasn't the greatest thing to have happen to a musician.
But this boy didn't look like he was focused on anything, rather that he was exploring the contents of the room itself. Mayumi pushed open the door and entered quietly.
He had his back to her, staring at the wind instruments and swaying his hips. Mayumi smiled for a moment, then wiped it away and quickly spoke up.
"Um, hello," she called to him. "Are you in here for practice?"

Yumiko walked down the hall, her eyes drifting from door to door as she paced herself to the beat of the song she was listening to. There are a lot of classrooms, she noted, catching each sign briefly. I wonder where I'm supposed to be..
Sure enough, she approached a door labeled 'Music Room'. "Huh," Yumiko said to herself as she approached the door. Looks like I'll be having to go in here a lot, so I might as well familiarize myself with it.
Not expecting anyone to be inside, she opened the door and stepped in. Surprisingly, there were two people inside. A flamboyant looking blonde and a cute little dark haired girl. Well then. Unsure of what to do, she made her way around the two, trying to check out what the room had to offer, when she made eye contact with the young man.
Sighing, she gave in and decided to introduce herself. "Hello," she began, letting her gaze travel to the girl as well. "I'm Yumiko Kameshiro.. are you guys busy in here? Do you need me to leave?"

Mayumi jumped slightly when the door behind her opened again and she silently cursed herself for being frightened. She turned somewhat to see who had come in behind her to find yet another girl she had never seen before trying to slink around her unseen.
When the girl locked eyes with the blonde Mayumi had intruded on, she sighed and introduced herself. "Hello," she started, her gaze briefly moving to Mayumi, as well. "I'm Yumiko Kameshiro.. are you guys busy in here? Do you need me to leave?"
Mayumi nodded once at the girl - at Yumiko - in an attempt at a greeting, though it seemed that she was telling the girl to leave, so Mayumi piped up and introduced herself, as well, to the both of them.
"I was just wondering the same thing, actually," she began, "I'm Mayumi Yoshida."

Kettaro was too busy observing the instruments, ignoring the rest of the world. That is, until he was interrupted during his process of examining the instruments. He stopped the swaying of his hips and turned around with opened arms towards the new voices he heard. He flinched as he tried to give them a good first impression.
By trying to do so, Kettaro flipped his hair while imagining pretty shoujo sparkles around him. He responded to their hello's with, "Greetings, ladies! Why yes, I am here for practice! Wait-- practice? I was just..." he lowered his voice and avoided eye contact. "... skipping the rest of today's classes."
The blonde heard the other female with brown hues speak up; she was suggesting that she should leave, and the first guest was thinking the same.
"Yumiko Kameshiro... Mayumi Yoshida..." Kettaro said at first to get their names into his head. "All right! I'm Kettaro Sawashiro-- it's nice to meet you two! Well, no need to worry about intruding anything! Everyone is welcomed into this lovely room~ Why do you think someone like me is in here?" He laughed at himself, but the paused because he thought that they would think he was lame for laughing at his own joke. If it was even considered a joke.

Mayumi Yoshida. Kettaro Sawashiro. Yumiko nodded to herself, remembering the names. Though the Mayumi girl seemed nice enough, Kettaro seemed more of the trouble maker type. He is kind of cute though, Yumiko noted, but kept her expression neutral and clear of any interest towards the young man.
Even though he had lowered his voice, she had caught his words. Skipping class, huh? So I was right, he is a delinquent. He seemed to be a bubbly as well as friendly, though as she watched him him laugh at his own joke, she felt the need to tell him to shut up and stop acting stupid. But that's mean, she thought. The only person you're allowed to say things like that to are Daisuke.
"Sawashiro," she said firmly, slightly annoyed by his behaviour. "You know, it isn't smart to be skipping classes. They're important and that attitude you've got isn't going to help you at all." Ouch. That was mean. Who am I to tell him what to do? Besides, I'm not really that into going to class myself.. Yumiko, you stupid hypocrite.
Her inner monologue distracted her for a moment, but coming back to her current situation, she felt their eyes on her. Me and my impulses, I swear. "Sorry," she said, bowing in respect to the young man. "I shouldn't have said anything." Turning to Mayumi, she gave an apologetic smile. "I'm sorry for causing somewhat of a scene."

Mayumi blinked at the two eccentric characters in front of her. Both she hadn't met before. But when Yumiko snapped at Kettaro, Mayumi whipped her head in the direction of the girl.
That sounded like something she would say. It was weird, hearing those words come from someone else's mouth. She smirked at Yumiko, believing she had just met a new friend.
Then she apologized, and Mayumi's smirk turned into a slight scowl. "I'm sorry for causing somewhat of a scene."
Mayumi waved her hand at the girl. "Nonsense." Then she turned to Kettaro, "Why skip classes in the music hall? Are you a singing major?"

"Sawashiro," he heard. "You know, it isn't smart to be skipping classes. They're important and that attitude you've got isn't going to help you at all."
Kettaro's playful expressed turned upside down and he gave her a pout. As he was pouting, he looked at the two girls before him. However, his pout quickly shifted into a perky smile. The blonde looked at Mayumi and answered her questions. "Me? Of course I'm a singing major! LAAAA~ And I skip because I don't wanna learn about boring stuff; I rather do musical activities!"
Then, he looked at Yumiko with a puzzled face. But he grinned again because it was like she was his mother, but much younger. "Ah-- my bad! I'll promise to do my homework, at least! Is that okay, Mommy-- I mean, Kameshiro-san~?"
But when Yumiko apologized to the characters, Kettaro couldn't help but laugh at them both in an obnoxious manner. "GAHAHAH-- Man, you guys...! I'm going to vomit from all this laughing!"

He's a singing major as well? That explains his choice of scenery.. Yumiko eased a bit, finding another music companion, though she was unsure if she would warm up to his loud behaviour. Then it hit her. He was a lot like her twin. Though they looked almost exactly alike, his attitude was more playful than her own. While she preferred being quite and keeping to herself, he was outgoing and excitable. The thought of her only sibling that didn't leave her brought a warm smile to her face. I miss you, Daisuke, she thought. "Ah-- my bad! I'll promise to do my homework, at least! Is that okay, Mommy-- I mean, Kameshiro-san~?" Mommy, huh? Yumiko shook her head, resisting the urge to grit her teeth whilst her eyebrow twitched. "Oi, listen, Sawashiro," she began, almost annoyed. "I'm not your mommy. I will never be your mommy." Heaving a heavy sigh and shaking her head once more. Why am I being so rude to him? "Sorry. Just.. Okay. Do your homework. Don't waste too much time skipping out on class. You have responsibilities! You can't throw them aside when you please.. well you can.. but, promise to get back to them afterwards!" Rolling her eyes, she came to a realization. "Well," she began, a smile playing at her lips. "Seeing as I'm a vocal major as well, I'll be seeing you around quite a bit.." Yumiko didn't care for schoolwork, but she didn't like seeing her peers fall behind. "I promise to help you out with your work if you need me too, alright Sawashiro?" Great, now I really am acting like his mommy.

You have responsibilities! You can't throw them aside when you please.. well you can.. but, promise to get back to them afterwards!" Yumiko whined.
Mayumi wrinkled her nose again. "Stop playing 'Mommy,'" she told Yumiko, turning her back to the piano she had been staring at facing the girl. "He's obviously a grown man," Mayumi gestured toward Kettaro. "Or something close."
She glanced at Kettaro, "Besides, skipping a few classes never hurt anyone."
Twirling around - much like Kettaro had when she'd entered the music room - Mayumi made her way to the piano and sat down at the bench, tapping a few keys experimentally.
"God, whoever tunes this thing must be a monster," she whispered. Then, looking to Yumiko again, Mayumi asked, "Are you just going to stand there stock-still, or are you going to have some fun?"
Mayumi's grin was taking on some kind of evil on it's own.

Feeling like an idiot, she slammed her palm against her face. Right, right, who am I to talk? What is wrong with me? Yumiko knew that these students were much different from the ones she encountered back home; obvious delinquents who ended up working in factories with no real future. Sighing, she apologized to the both of them. "S-Sorry.. please don't mind me.." Slumping against a wall, she shut her eyes for a mere moment when Kettaro's voice interrupted her. "Oi, Mayumi-chaaan~ Tell mother to calm down! She's going berserk over here!" "Oi, Sawashiro," Yumiko said, almost bored with his bubbly attitude. "You're very childish, you know that?" Mother, tch. "Just like Daisuke," she added in a hushed tone, hoping they wouldn't hear. In truth, Yumiko was thrilled to have found someone so much like her twin, though she knew she didn't share the same bond they did. He was a stranger, yet because of his familiar behaviour, she wanted him to warm up to her. It'd be nice to have a Daisuke at this school, she mused. It'd be like I'm back at home."Are you just going to stand there stock-still, or are you going to have some fun?" Yumiko glanced up at Mayumi, considering the idea. I might as well, she thought. Eyeing a drum kit and guitar on the opposite side of the room, she got up from her spot and slowly approached it. Automatically, her hand fell on the neck of the guitar, picking it up carefully yet firmly, so that she wouldn't wreck it nor drop it. Pulling the strap over her head, she reminisced her days back home with her first guitar. She strummed it lightly, scrunching up her nose at the hideous sound. "Of course it's out of tune," she muttered. Twisting the knobs expertly, she strummed it once more and was pleased to hear the familiar standard tuning. Not really up to playing in the same room as her new found acquaintances, she looked up at the two, wondering what they would sound like if they played or sang for her. "Would it be okay if.. if you performed in front of me..?" she asked them nervously.

The blonde was taken aback at what Mayumi was saying. He felt as if he was standing next to two female warriors. Kettaro patted Mayumi on the back when she had defended him. "Shucks... Thanks, Mayumi-chan! But I guess getting scold once in a while never hurts either, hn?" He flashed a smile at the raven haired female and looked back at Yumiko.
"Oi, Sawashiro, You're very childish, you know that?" were the words she spoke. Kettaro did nothing but grin at her with ease. "Ahaha! Is there something wrong with being very childish, Kameshiro-san?" Kettaro stuck out his tongue now. "Maybe you're just being over-protective!" Yumiko had added something, but it was too low for Kettaro to hear, so he blinked a few times before pestering her with, "What? Like whaat?"
Mayumi started producing melodies and it sounded great to Kettaro, even if it was out of tuned. "Would it be okay if.. if you performed in front of me..?" Yumiko later asked. The male's eyes were shining with delight as he looked at Mayumi for her approval.

Kettaro patted Mayumi on the back. "Shucks... Thanks, Mayumi-chan! But I guess getting scold once in a while never hurts either, hn?" He flashed a smile at the her before his gaze traveled back to Yumiko. Mayumi didn't hear what the other girl said, but Kettaro was suddenly chuckling. "Ahaha! Is there something wrong with being very childish, Kameshiro-san?" He stuck out his tongue at her, all but disproving her point. Kettaro was fun, Mayumi noted. He seemed like someone she could goof off with when she needed a break from boarding school life. He was nice, as well, and, from where she was sitting, smelled quite good. Pressing down on more ivory keys, Mayumi heard Yumiko ask, "Would it be okay if.. if you performed in front of me?" Mayumi shrugged, tapping a quick C#, and turning her head toward the girl, "Sure, why not." Lifting her hands again, Mayumi's fingers hovered over the first few keys of another American song she had learned and grew to love. "All the things she said, all the things she said. Running through my head, running through my head," Mayumi sang, her voice filling the music room like fire in the belly of a dragon - heated and ready to explode at any moment. She didn't rush through, but she didn't dawdle, either. "This is not enough."Mayumi hadn't played this song in a long time - she often played it when she was angry at her mother, but her mother hadn't spoken to her since Mayumi had been accepted into Aozora. "Mother looking at me. Tell me what do you see? Yes, I've lost my mind."The song finished quickly after that, and, with a deep, shaky breath, Mayumi turned to tuck her legs under her on the piano bench, waiting for Kettaro and Yumiko's opinions.

"What? Like whaat?" Sighing, she rolled her eyes towards Kettaro. "Like my twin brother," she said. The more time she spent around this Kettaro character, the more she felt like she was at home, surrounded by her loving and playful brother. Shaking her head to herself, she continued to play around with the strings of the guitar, only loud enough for her ears alone. Thankfully, Mayumi agreed to playing a song, and by the looks of it, it was very well practiced. Beaming, Yumiko realized she recognized the song. Tapping her toe to the beat, she found herself quietly humming along as Mayumi played and sang. Her voice is lovely, she mused. I hope I get to hear more of it some day. As the song came to an end, Yumiko happily gave an applause. "That was fantastic, Mayumi," she said, giving her a bright smile. Maybe I should learn that song for myself.

Hearing that Yumiko had a twin brother made the blonde tilt his head a little before getting excited. Having a twin was like finding a rare candy back in his home. But here, he's actually met one of the twins. "That's incredible! I've never met a twin before... Does he look like you? Wow--- it's like salt and pepper, haha!"
Then, before he knew it, Mayumi had filled the room with an upbeat melody. Kettaro took note that her English seemed well developed. Maybe she was a young genius. The song seemed fulled of angst or passion or maybe both of them combined. Was it a message? The male couldn't figure out which word would be fit to describe.
He watched in awe as the female was done with her song. Kettaro applauded quite obnoxiously along side with Yumiko. "Mayumi-chan~ You looked super cool playing!" he smiled with his teeth and pulled up two thumbs for the female. "Cooler than me, that's for sure!"
