Character: Daisuke and whoever else! Time: Past curfew, I don't know exactly what time.. maybe 11? Location: Da rooofff
This was Daisuke's favorite time of day to be up on the rooftop. The town looked absolutely gorgeous illuminated in a sea of twinkling yellows and whites, like a frame of some famous painting. If Dai could paint or draw.. this would be the first place he would draw. The quiet was a bit unnerving to the young music student, so he flicked on his ipod, and let his head phones hang around his neck, the slight humming of the music instantly calming him.
The lavender haired boy rested on his elbows, and looked up into the sky. The best part about this place at night was the fact that it was off limits. This was a daring move for Daisuke, who usually ran away from any sort of trouble, he could get his scholarship taken away. Well... not in this case. The most he would get would probably be a scolding and be send back to his room, and that is exactly why this is the most thrilling thing for him to do.
Blinking into the sky, Dai spotted the first star of the night and smiled "How does that amercian saying go again? Um... eeny meeny miny star? No no that wasn't it.. " he spoke softly, trying to remember the saying that Cole had taught him a while ago, "Oh yeah! Star light, star bright, first star I see tonight, I wish I may I wish I might... grant the wish I wish tonight? No, that's not right," he laughed, shrugging it off, "Whatever... okay star gods.. I wish for a little bit of company!" Dai laughed relaxing his arms and knotting them behind his head.

The short, orange-haired teenager sighed as he climbed the stairs heading up towards the rooftop. It was past curfew, but Hinata didn't really care much. He couldn't sleep and decided to go to the roof to look at the stars or something. Hinata didn't like to admit it but it always made him feel at ease when he looked at the stars. Or maybe, the sky in general since he liked looking at the clouds too.
The roof was one of Hinata's favorite places to visit. It was where he would always go to catch a quick nap when he decided to skip class. He grabbed the knob of the door that led to the roof and turned and pushed the door open quietly. He walked out into open space, turning his head up to look at stars above them.
It was when he heard the music softly playing in front of him, that he noticed he wasn't the only one here at the rooftop today. He looked forward to see who was on the roof when he noticed it was a boy who was practically more than a whole head taller than him. "That guy's a giant!"[/i] He thought in surprise, taking a small step back. He heard the tall boy ramble on about something about stars before he shrugged it off, yelling something about how he wanted company, laughing then continued looking at the stars.
Hinata was at a bit of a loss at what to do. He could either ask to stay or just leave entirely without saying anything at all while hoping that the boy didn't notice him. He was considering going with the latter but he didn't really have anywhere else to go or anything to do at the moment so he hesitantly went with the first choice. The boy seemed to have wanted company, anyway.
"Uh, Hey! I didn't expect anyone else to be here," He began in a friendly tone, waving at the boy and laughing towards the end. "Do you mind if I stay here too?" He asked as he inched forward a bit, scratching the back of his head nervously.

Arlettewas restless that night.
After they had finished with the dormitory check, she slid out of her room and made her way to somewhere she figured no one would be. With every step Arlette took up the staircase, she began thinking: there was a some likelihood she would be alone, but with that many students around, the odds of someone appearing was difficult to count. What if there was someone? What would she say?
As she pushed open the door that would lead her to the rooftop, Arlette saw two figures, and what she had least desired came through. She thought about going back to her dorm, but she figured at least one of them had already heard her.
A shiver ran over Arlette's pale skin- the temperature sure had dropped -stupid September wind, she thought- why hadn't she brought up her jacket at least? All she wore was a pair of brown sleeping pants, and over it a dark, oversized shirt from a competition her friend had given her - Cabries Cadet Worldcup, it proclaimed in white text.
'Hello,' She called out to the two figures, in what she hoped to be a soft voice, as she approached them gingerly.

Daisuke didn't believe in gods or anything like that, so when he made a wish on a star he wasn't expecting the wish to come true. In fact, he didn't give the wish much thought at all. When he heard the voice pop up from behind him he jumped, spinning around and initially saw nothing. This was common for a boy his height, he practically could see right over this guy's head. Wow what a shortie! He thought as he adjusted to the height difference. Dai rested his eyes on the other boy and tried to decide if the boy standing in front of him was real or not.
Outstretching his long arm, Dai poked the smaller boy in the chest. "Oh okay, you're real." He sighed in relief. "Sorry, you kinda scared me. One second I'm wishing for company and BOOM! There you are!" Dai laughed throwing his arms in the air. Daisuke was a very animated guy, what can you do?
"Of course you can stay up here." Dai smiled, sitting down. "I'm Daisuke by the way, second year." he introduced holding out his hand.
The sound of the second voice didn't catch him too off guard this time, and he squinted into the darkness as the girlish figure approached. "Hello stranger, come join us!"

Hinata almost jumped in surprise when the boy suddenly poked him in the chest but refrained himself from doing so, not wanting to seem like a scaredy-cat. "Oh okay, you're real." The boy said before letting out a sigh in relief. "Sorry, you kinda scared me. One second I'm wishing for company and BOOM! There you are!" He added, laughing loudly and throwing his arms up in the air.
"Of course you can stay up here." He answered smiling and taking a seat on the ground. Hinata wondered if he was trying to be considerate because the other boy was a giant while he was a beansprout which would have slightly irritated him if that were to be true.
"I'm Daisuke by the way, second year." Daisuke said, extending his hand out toward Hinata for a handshake. This guy was hyperactive, that's for sure. Hinata gave a smile in return and shook the boy's hand.
"I'm Hinata, also a second year." He said, before releasing the boy's hand. He was about to thank him for letting him stay up here before he heard another voice on the roof. He turned his head to see a girl approaching the two, giving a soft 'hello'. Hinata positioned himself so that the three were standing, or well, sitting in Daisuke's case, in a triangle and then proceeded to greet the girl.
"Hi. Haha, It seems like we're having a party tonight." Hinata said with a laugh. He wouldn't be surprised if another figure were to appear, as it seemed as if they were coming one after the other.

"Oh, ah, hi," Arlette said finally as the figures became clearer -two boys. One with spectacles and lavender hair, another with orange hair, and significantly shorter."I'm Hinata, also a second year." She heard the smaller, orange-haired one say, and then asked, "You're a second year too?" Arlette was about to say more, but she realised she hadn't even introduced herself yet. "I'm Arlette," she said, as she rubbed her eyes for a moment, smiling slightly. "I thought I was the only one gonna be up here, actually."
Arlette looked at the boy Hinata, "so you're Hinata," and her eyes flicked to the lavender-haired boy, "and you would be...?"

Daisuke smiled softly at the two people as he pushed up his red frames on the bridge of his nose. This night was turning out to be more fun than he expected. "I'm Hinata, also a second year." the orange haired boy said as he released his hand."Hi. Haha, It seems like we're having a party tonight." Hinata said, toward the girl. Dai nodded and turned his attention to the girl who introduced her self as Arlette, and a second year.
"Yeah I think we all were expecting to be all alone up here." Dai smiled pushing his bangs out of his forehead. He had forgotten to bring is clip tonight and was regretting it. "and you would be...?" Arlette asked him.
"Oh, I'm Daisuke." He beamed patting the floor in front of him, "Let's sit down for this rooftop party," He smiled "So we're all second years? How about major? What are you guys here for?," Daisuke loved to learn about new people, and Arlette and Hinata seemed to be really nice people. They were also his first first gift from the star gods, which he still thought to be incredibly cool.

"You're a second year too?" The girl asked before introducing herself. "I'm Arlette, I thought I was the only one gonna be up here, actually." She said while rubbing her eyes a bit.
"Yeah I think we all were expecting to be all alone up here." Daisuke answered smiling and pushing his bangs out of his eyes.
"Yep. I didn't expect anyone up here this late either." He said to the two, before stuffing his hands in his pocket. Hinata was expecting to be here alone and relax a bit before heading back, hoping that it would help him be able to sleep, but that didn't seem like it was going to happen.
Daisuke suggested they all sit down, so Hinata took the chance to do so and sat while looking back up at the stars. "So we're all second years? How about major? What are you guys here for?" Daisuke questioned excitedly. Hinata turned his head back to look at the boy before answering.
"Yeah, seems so. I'm majoring in acting." Hinata replied, leaning back a bit to get more comfortable. "I actually couldn't sleep, so I came up here to relax and look at the stars for a bit." He added sheepishly, giving a small nervous laugh.

"So we're all second years? How about major? What are you guys here for?" The lavender-haired boy Daisuke asked as they all sat on the cool rooftop floor.
"I'm majoring in acting." Hinata replied as he leaned back, and to that Arlette said, smiling, feeling that they might turn out to be friendlier that she expected, "Oh, me too! I shall see you in acting class, then!" She looked up to the velvety night sky, it was completely shrouded in darkness, if not for a couple of glittering constellations which she recognized but, their names slipped out of her mind. "Well I came up here since I couldn't sleep, aha, I was feeling rather restless, actually. Arlette looked to the two boys, her eyes slightly tired with a genuine smile, but I'm kinda happy I got to meet you both."

Dai looked around at his two new acquaintances and smiled listening intently on their answers. He flipped around on his stomach and rested on his elbows.
"Ah I'm the only singer in the group." He commented, running his fingers through his hair. When it comes to singers Daisuke actually didn't know that many in his class. Most of his friends were in the other two majors. The other two had valid reasons for being up on the roof, Dai on the other hand just...was there. "I'm glad that you guys came up here."
Kicking his long legs up and down, Dai tilted his head back wards and looked up at the stars. "Do any of you know any of the constellations? I only know the big dipper right there." he pointed.

The roof - more territory that Mayumi hadn't explored yet. She couldn't sleep yet again, and didn't think anyone would be up there so late at night, but, when she hit the landing just outside of the door, Mayumi began to hear voices and frowned.
Shouldering open the door as quietly as possible, Mayumi peaked around the opening to spot three students she had never seen before, sprawled on the ground, looking up at the sky.
"Do any of you know any of the constellations?" a boy with shockingly purple hair asked, then, pointing at the sky, he added. "I only know the big dipper right there."
Mayumi popped quickly from the shadows, making her way toward the group. She lifted her hand, as well, pointing to a cluster of stars off to the left. "Orion's up there," she said, fighting a smile.
She didn't know much about stars, but she knew that constellation wall enough to use it as a conversation starter.

"Oh, you're an actor too? Cool, then yeah, I guess I'll see you in class." Hinata replied smiling at the girl. Arlette turned her attention to the sky before mentioning that she had the same predicament as Hinata, they both weren't able to sleep. Hinata then turned to Daisuke when he spoke, mentioning that he was a singer.
"Ah, actually my roommate's a singer." Hinata added, remembering the conversation he had with the boy and that he had mentioned he was majoring in singing. Daisuke turned to lie down on his stomach and looked up at the sky.
"Do any of you know any of the constellations? I only know the big dipper right there." Daisuke said, pointing up to the stars. Hinata was about to reply before he heard yet another voice entering the conversation. He looked to the side to see a black-haired girl walking towards them.
"Orion's up there," She said while making her way to the three and pointing up towards the constellation. Hinata wasn't surprised that another visitor showed up. It seemed this really was turning into a party with the amount of people coincidentally all visiting the roof on the same night.
"Oh, hey another person's joining the group" Hinata said with a laugh. "Wanna sit and join us?" He asked, looking up the newcomer.

"Oh, hey another person's joining the group," the boy that had noticed Mayumi called to her, laughing a bit. "Wanna sit and join us?"
Mayumi stopped mid-step and stared at the boy for a moment. Like the one asking about constellations, this boy had bright, odd-colored hair, as well, but, instead of purple, his hair was orange. He looked friendly, though, they all did.
Taking a few more steps, Mayumi sat down near them and folded her legs under her. She looked back up at the sky for a long minute, wondering how the night sky over the city could show so many stars.
Her gaze traveled down to the group again. "I don't know any others," she told them, "Constellations, I mean."

Dai perked up as Hinata mentioned his roommate, excited to have something to talk about, "Really? Who's your roommate? Maybe I know him!" he beamed. Daisuke really was a night owl. Mornings weren't his cup of tea, the nighttime was were he came alive.
"Orion's up there,"
Dai turned toward the sound of another voice coming from the darkness of the roof, and squinted as a smaller girl appeared."Welcome to the rooftop party!" Dai laughed, motioning the girl over to them. A bright smile appeared on his face as he tried to look to where her finger was pointing. "Wait.. what does orion look like... sorry.. right now all I see are dots.. and I don't know which ones to connect."

(ooc: oh, don't worry about it, kekeke! i wasn't here for a while, so. uh, we're not being accurate with the constellations are we?)
"I don't know any others," she told them, "Constellations, I mean."
Arlette turned to face the girl, she had glossy-looking dark hair and Arlette was sure she hadn't met the dark-haired girl before. To her, Arlette waved, "would you like to join us?"
"So you're the only singer, huh, Daisuke?" Arlette asked as she tilted her head back to face the soft, dark sky again. She raised her finger to speckles of stars that, if you looked closely, formed a cross. "I think that's Crux."
Her earlier calculative thoughts had turned out to be inaccurate. She's thought that the probability of kids showing up at the rooftop -considering the particular day, and the number of students that would show, especially after curfew. Arlette wanted to smile to herself; maybe it wasn't so bad that she'd met some others out here.
