Character(s): Isuzu Koyama, Kakeru Shizuma & whoever else wants to join ~ Time: 9:00PM Location: Music Room
Having skipped dinner, partly because she very fond of eating in front of others and partly because she had predicted that she would've disliked the food anyway, Isuzu chose to spend her time in the music room. Because she had visited it once before, it hadn't taken her too long to find again.
Upon reaching the room, Isuzu braced the back of her hand towards the door. She doubted that anyone would be there during dinner, and she had wanted the room to herself. Knocking twice, Isuzu waited a few seconds and when she heard no answer, she stepped inside, breathing in the newly familiar scent of wood and brass.
After about an hour of just getting to know the room layout, where everything was, where all the instruments were, Isuzu sat herself down on one of the stools beside the microphones. She placed her violin case down gently and picked up the instrument.
Positioning the microphone towards the instrument, the blonde let her sapphire-blue eyes flutter close. Sighing deeply once, she picked up the bow and began to run it against the strings. The formerly silent room was filled with the gentle, slow, and somewhat melancholic song. Alternating from singing and humming along with the tune, Isuzu was in her own little world.

It was getting pretty late when Kakeru Shizuma rounded a corner in Aozora Academy, fully intent on heading to the boy's dorms. The day had been pretty uneventful, but he had surprisingly met up with some of the people he had befriended early that week. Stretching his arms over his head as a yawn passed his lips, Kakeru let his mind wander to the books his sister sent him and the odd letter that came with it.
While passing the music room, he heard the familiar sound of a violin playing soothingly. Kakeru stopped abruptly, and walked towards the open door and peeked his head inside. Although the boy had done this once before, and had gotten caught by the girl he was creeping up on which ensued extreme embarrassment, he wanted to see whoever it was playing the violin. It had been such a long time since he heard someone else play a stringed instrument, and play one with talent too.
The raven haired teen's emerald eyes landed on a girl with blond hair. She seemed to be deeply into the song she was playing, because her eyes were shut firmly as she played. He stood there silently observing as the girl poured her heart and soul into the song. When the girl seemed to have finished, Kakeru absentmindedly let his hands come together several times in a clapping motion, and after realizing what he did the teenager stopped as he immediately became flustered. A bright flush ran over his cheeks as he turned his head to the side.
"S-So-Sorry... I-I di-didn't me-mean too ... I wa-was ju-just li-listening an-and I-I..." Kakeru trailed off as he gazed to the floor. He hoped the girl wasn't mad at him for listening to her play the violin. It was nice to finally hear someone else with talent at playing a stringed instrument play.

When the very first sound of clapping reached her ears, Isuzu's eyes shot open. She was somewhat embarrassed with the fact that someone had seen her playing and singing, but she didn't let it show externally. Making a small "hmph" sound, she replaced her violin in its case and rested it on her lap.
Locking eyes with the boy beside the doorway, Isuzu sighed softly. "It doesn't matter," she muttered quickly, "It's not like I own the music room.. You can do what you like.." Isuzu let her voice trail off and she absentmindedly brushed the non-existent dust off of her instrument's case.
Usually, Isuzu would've immediately snapped at anyone that was watching her without her consent, but when that boy began to spoke, that anger was instantly dissolved. She didn't even know what it was about him that saved him from her temper; perhaps it was that he seemed so timid. If she yelled at him, she was afraid that he would've started crying or something in the like.
Sighing again, Isuzu stood up with her violin case hanging loosely from the handle in one of her hands. "You're free to use the room is that's what you wanted," she said, her voice rather indifferent.

Kakeru watched completely shocked as the girl stood up from the stool with her violin case in hand. “You’re free to use the room is that's what you wanted," the girl said. He noticed how indifferent her voice was when she spoke to him both times. She seemed to be rather blunt, now that he thought about it. The way she stood and presented herself to him gave him the impression that she was different. Much different. She wasn’t like most of the people Kakeru had met at Aozora so far, the girl seemed to be cold and distant. Personality wise, anyways.
Shifting his vision to the ground in front of him, the raven haired boy felt a wave of nausea hit him from complete nervousness and the feeling of being uncomfortable. Staring intently at the ground, so he wouldn’t rile up the teenager in front of him and get her angry, the boy shakily raised a hand and ran it through his black mop of hair.
“S-So-Sorry… I-I-I w-was-wasn’t lo-looking to u-use this r-room,” Kakeru’s voice was barely above a whisper as he attempted to somehow stutter the words out. Kakeru could hear his heart beat in his ears as he felt embarrassed of situation at hand. “I-I… I ju-just wan-wanted to see who w-was playing the violin,” he mumbled as a blush rose to his cheeks. Even though this girl sent him a odd and incredibly cold vibe, Kakeru still felt like he should give her a chance. Some people aren’t who they are on first impression, and in a way, she didn’t seem to be exactly to harsh. Just mildly cold.

Upon seeing the boy in front her blush, Isuzu couldn't keep the small surprised look from appearing on her face. "A-ah.." she began quietly, the sound escaping subconsciously from her throat. Almost as quickly as it appeared, her surprise disappeared and she sighed. It was a sigh that was directed only at herself.
She wasn't used to the way people around Aozora were acting around her. Most people she had met from previous schools and suburbs either tried too hard to get her attention or ignored her completely, which she didn't particularly mind, and in come cases, preferred. But it seemed that out of the few people who she had met were shy around her, or were like her roommate and stood up to her ice cube front.
When the boy started talking again, she almost didn't notice as his voice was soft and she had to really concentrate to pick up his words across their distance. “I-I…I ju-just wan-wanted to see who w-was playing the violin.” She tutted once and nodded in acknowledgement of his words. "I see," she began quietly, stepping out from behind where the microphone stand stood. "Do you play yourself?" she asked, looking up to meet his eyes.

"Do you play yourself?" the girl asked as her sapphire-blue eyes met his. Kakeru inhaled sharply out of surprise. His stomach churned out of nervousness, and he quickly looked away from the girl in front of him. The raven haired boy shook his head ‘no’ as his eyes focused on the ground to the left of him. Kakeru realized that although he didn’t play the violin, there was no harm in telling her that he could play the cello.
A light blush formed on his cheeks as he took a quick glance at her before returning his eyes to the ground. “I… I do pl-play the c-cello though… I’ve b-been playing th-that f-for as lon-long as I c-can remember a-actually…” he trailed off at the end as his eyes strayed back to the blond teenager in front of him. He waited silently for her reply.
