Characters: Daisuke Kudo and Jun Satoshi Time: 12:30 pm Location: During gym at the volley ball courts
This must be what death felt like. With his hands on his knees Dai huffed and gagged. Gym wasn't his thing. "Oh god..." The tall boy groaned as the ball came his way. Doing the first thing that came to mind, he punched the ball sending it flying behind him. A sea of angry slurs directed themselves at the tall boy and he inched backward, smiling sheepishly. "Sorry guys."
Dragging himself toward the ball he threw it back at his teammates. Standing next to a familiar light blue headed boy, Dai smiled and nudged him a little with his shoulder, "Psst. Hey Jun... we should make a run for it." He was half joking with the shy boy, but he hoped he would respond. Having Jun in his gym class was fun, they had become almost... silent buddies. They both sucked at gym, and they both liked books... that was enough to be friends right?
(ooc; dbhcbjh sucky response is sucky.)

Jun had a system. Stay at the far corner of the volley ball court, and the ball would never come to him. He had calculated the probability of getting the ball from this spot right here and there was a less than a 5 % chance of the ball coming his way and those statistics were enough for him.
He watched as the ball soared toward his tall purple... friend? He guessed? Jun never really had a friend, but Daisuke was nice enough and he wasn't pushy so he didn't make him that nervous. When the ball flew backward Jun was a little bit happy that that wasn't him running to retrieve the ball.
His eyes widened as the tall boy cam his way. The little nudge caused him to flinch.
"Psst. Hey Jun... we should make a run for it."
Jun laughed nervously and nodded, "T-That would be nice."
"Satoshi, Kudo, heads up!" a voice screamed to them.
When Jun looked up, the ball was hurtling toward him fast. No way he thought as he squealed at raised his arms to protect himself. Ugh I'm pathetic
//ooc: no no it's ok. asdfghjkl he's so boring i'm sorry

Jun's squeal sent Daisuke into a protective mode. Without thinking, Dai jumped in front of the ball, pushing the shorter boy behind him. Feeling full force of the volleyball hit him in the face. The sting was immediate and sharp, causing his eyes to water.
Blinking away the tears, Dai turned to his friend and smiled, ignoring the sounds of 'ooooooooo' that his classmates were making. "So how about that run for it?" Dai laughed weakly, not aware of how red his face was, the bright lines of the volley ball appearing on his cheeks.
Despite the smile on his face... Dai was feeling a bit woozy. Swaying on his feet a bit, grabbing onto the other's shoulder for support.

SMACK!
Jun heard from behind his arms. The smack noise was loud.. but there was no pain. Jun had been hit many times with volley balls... he knew that the pain usually came with the smack but no. Nothing.
Opening his eyes slowly he tried to piece together what had just happened. Smacking noise. No pain. Daisuke standing in front of him. Everyone 'oo'ing. It didn't take a genius. Jun gasped his hands wavering helplessly at the tall boy. He protected him. The boy that he barely considered his friend just jumped in front of a ball for him, Jun was touched.
"So how about that run for it?" Jun didn't know what to say. Daisuke's face was a deep familiar red, and Jun winced inwardly at the pain that he knew Dai was enduring, and reached out toward him, but Dai, having longer limbs than him, reached him first. "A-Are you okay?" Jun panicked, trying his best to steady his friend. "C-Come on,"he ordered in a soft voice, "Sensei we're going to sit this one out okay?"
This was very unlike Jun, but he figured he had to at least act like a good friend.... for Daisuke's sake.

Daisuke was confused, things were passing is a whir of colors. Somewhere close Dai swore that he could hear Jun giving him orders, but that couldn't be right. Jun? Giving Dai orders? That was odd. Maybe he was imagining it.
'J-Jun where are we going?" Dai asked, actually eye leveled with Jun. When did he hunch down? Blue eyes squinted as he tried to blink away the fuzzy world around him. He focused on a worried Jun, as they walked away from the gym class. 'So we're finally leaving gym?" Dai said offering a smile to lighten the mood, 'Awesome."
