Muse: Name: Kazuma “Chico” Kurosaki.
Age: 18.
Year: Third year.
Occupation: Student.
Face-claim: Masaomi Kida, Durarara!!.
Major: Singing.
Personality: Kazuma’s a ladies man, for one. He likes to please good looking girls by doing favors they ask of him; kindly get your mind out of the gutter. Please note how that previous sentence has the words good and looking together. Kazuma is judgmental and that reflects on the way he acts around the ladies. Girls he deems as good looking are the ones that he will flirt with. But don’t think that he’s rude towards the not so good looking ones. This kid doesn’t believe in relationships. He tends to lead girls on, getting their hopes up, and then once they are completely in “love” with him, he’llpolitely tell them that he’s not interested or never had the intention of hooking up in the first place. Kazuma’s confident with his charming abilities. It’s like he can turn his most precious talent on and off on a whim. He tends to use his charming personality to get what he wants, to talk his way out, talk people into something, etc.
Don’t feel discriminated against, guys. He’ll hit on you, too. He’s bi-curious like that.
Putting the flirting aside, Kazuma is a straightforward kind of guy. He doesn’t care if what he says comes off as rude or impolite. He really could care less. If you can’t handle the truth, don’t even bother asking Kazuma. So anyways, scratch his back and he scratches yours. Get his drift? Also, believe it or not, he’s a well mannered young man. Only when he wants to be, take notice. For example, he’ll open the door for you and hold it open for the others trailing in, for the ladies: he’ll push your chair in for you, and in general, he says his “please” and “thank yous” and “excuse me” when needed. Heck, he sometimes blurts out a “I’m sorry” when he bumps into inanimate objects. This is as kind as kind can get for Kazuma.
Despite all of these qualities that make up Kazuma, this kid likes to keep his true self hidden from everyone. Not even the people closest to him really know who he is. They would sometimes suspect that something’s off with Kazuma, but he always brushes it off, claiming that they’re just over looking things. Also, he trusts no one. Except for his uncle. His uncle is the only exception. The fact that he has trust issues may be the reason why he’s so secretive. Who knows, actually? Anyways, he doesn’t believe in others so don’t expect him to believe in you. Your drill is not the drill that will pierce the heavens. He appears to be always be the happy-go-lucky kind of guy, but how long would he be able to maintain this façade? Through his mask, he secretly judges people, thinking of any of them are actually worth his time. Chances of you being worth his time is very, very slim. Take a stab in trying to make yourself time worthy, if that made any sense at all.
tl;dr: "i'm kida i'm the type of girl who isn't afraid to cry or laugh i'm the type of girl who wears sweats and doesn't wear a lot of makeup!!!"
History: Before his all “I don’t trust people” bullshittery, Kazuma was born and raised into a wealthy family. He was the youngest out of three; his older sister being Teru, and Taro, a boy, being the middle child. Since he was the youngest, he was instructed to be just as good as his older siblings, and to possibly excel better than them. His family is wealthy and of high class, and because of this, anything the kids wanted, the kids got. “Hey mom, can I have a pony?” BAM! A pony will appear in their bedroom the next day. But of course, if they asked for a unicorn, the parents would just stick a random cone on the horse and claim it to be a unicorn. They were spoiled, to say the least. Although they were spoiled, they certainly didn’t act like it. Their parents taught them to be polite, respectable children. Show some rudeness to anyone, and emphasis on anyone, so help you God.
At a young age, Kazuma expressed interest in singing and becoming a guitarist. His parents, however, did nothing to support their child’s wishes and shrugged it off whenever he would ask for lessons. It wasn’t until Kazuma was almost a teenager that his parents got completely irritated at the constant pleading to become a singing guitarist that they started to enforce things upon him when he obviously showed dislike and no interest in. At ten, he was forced to take violin and piano lessons. Sure those instruments have something to do with the musical industry, but it wasn’t what Kazuma wanted to do. So as an act of defiance, Kazuma never practiced either instrument and would often get yelled at by his teachers, and especially his parents. They threatened to disown him if he kept it up, but the boy just waved a dismissive hand and claimed that they were bluffing. Because who in their right mind would disown their kid for something like this?
They weren’t bluffing. They didn’t formalize their disownment, but they treated Kazuma as if he never existed in the first place. His older siblings were warned that if they make contact with him, that they, too, would be ignored and considered as some sort of outcast to the family. It was harsh. Very, very harsh. So Kazuma ran away from home, and went off to live with his uncle. His uncle had frowned upon his sister’s and brother-in-law’s lack of encouragement towards Kazuma and his interests. And he, without a doubt, hated his sister for making Kazuma feel unloved and nonexistent in the family. He took the boy into his household, taught him how to play guitar, and hired a voice coach to help him learn how to sing. Things are starting to look bright again for the boy.
It was not until he was fifteen that Kazuma dyed his hair blond and pierced his ears. His uncle had mentioned one day that he looked like his parents, especially his mother. Kazuma didn’t like that fact. Didn’t like it at all. Period. So then he went to school like a normal kid. Unbeknown to him, one of his siblings is in the same school that he’s in. Well, shit. It took Taro a while to notice him, and when he did, he ignored him just as how he was told to do years ago. It was as if Kazuma felt and saw it coming that he didn’t bother saying a simple hello to his older brother. It was in this same school that Kazuma met and fell in “love” with Mikan, the girl who nicknamed him “Chico”. So everyday after school, he flirted with her, often complimented her. She kept pushing him away, however. She wasn’t interested with the fact that he can sing and play an instrument. It wasn’t until he was a band and a populaire dude, that Mikan was interested in going out with Kazuma.
The two started going out. Kazuma told Mikan and his friends everything about his childhood and trusted them with it. Because of the fact that her boyfriend is populaire, Mikan’s popularity sky rocketed. A couple of guys, a few from a different school, would hit on her, ask her on a couple of dates, and whatnot. Things of the sort. She succumbed and cheated on Kazuma. Her mistake when she confessed to going out with Kazuma just because of his fame, not because of who he is and what he’s been through. Rumors spread this spread like wildfire, also about his disownment. Kazuma called it off with the girl after he finds out that Mikan’s a cheater and a parasitic whore. Kazuma’s friends who have known about the rumors for a while never said anything to him. Apparently his friends had never considered him as their friend. Friends, who needs them? It may not have been a serious relationship in the eyes of Mikan, but it was in his eyes. Short lived their friendship might have been, he trusted his friends with everything.
Kazuma couldn’t take how everyone in this school was so fake anymore that he asked his uncle to transfer him to another school. His uncle sent him to Aozora where he’s a third year in vocals.
tl;dr: shit happened everywhere so he transferred to Aozora.
Short RP Example: They spent most of the day together, Kazuma and this girl who bumped into him the other day. He was just casually walking around the streets when this chick came running into him. She didn’t intend to bump into him, but it happened anyway since she wasn’t watching where she was going. Reflexively, Kazuma pushed her off of him after she made contact with him. The girl was a klutz. She fell on her butt and muttered something between the lines of “jerk” and “what the hell?” But Kazuma just stood there in front of her. And that’s when he noticed her pretty face. He extended a hand towards her and the girl reluctantly took it. Upon standing, Kazuma started hitting on this pretty face, telling her cheesy pick up lines. The girl let out a laugh and turned to look behind her. A couple of guys were then running towards the two’s general direction. The heck? The girl then took Kazuma’s hand and started running. ”Crazy chick, why are you dragging me into your problems?”
The pair started running until they found an alley. They hid there until the mob that was chasing the girl passed by them. The girl was panting and under her breath, muttered a thank you to Kazuma. He just stared at her with a spectacle look. She then explained her situation to him. Apparently she rejected one of the guys and he was butthurt about it. So like every other butthurt people out there, he decided to follow after her until she went out on a date with him. Upon hearing this, Kazuma suggested that she go on a date with him tomorrow. She was grinning ear to ear and finally introduced herself as Maki. A small smile appeared on Kazuma’s face and he told her where they should meet up, etc. Fast forwarding back into the present. Boy did he regret setting up a date with this Maki chick. She’s as boring as the previous chick, except that Maki’s cardboard personality was a little bit better.
It was dark out, and Maki was leading Kazuma in front of her apartment. She started to approach the building, but Kazuma just stood there staring at the apartment complex. ”Don’t you want to come in?” He simply shook his head in reply, a small smile playing on his lips. ”You’re not worth my time,” he said. ”I’ve met dogs with much more personality than you. Truth is, you’re just like every other girl out there.” Maki made a face and she started to tear up. ”Who do you think you are?” But that wasn’t enough to phase Kazuma. She raised a hand to slap him but it was easily avoided by the tilt of his head. He ignored her question and replied with, ”I don’t even remember your name.” Kazuma started to walk backwards, pointing a finger at Maki. ”But thanks for today, anyways!”
