Time: around noon.
Location: Dai's dorm room.

Chiaki's head was swimming as he slowly woke, the distinct sound of his own ringtone the only reason he'd become lucid. "Ngh.. hello?" he asked, flipping the device open and pressing it clumsily to his ear. Misaki's voice - distinctly worried - came pouring through the tiny speaker, causing him to recoil slightly.

"Chiaki, did you take those two hello kitty bottles while you were over here?"

"...yeah, why?"

"Did you drink what was in it?"

"Mhm.. the whole thing.."

"Chiaki! That stuff was alcoholic, it was so concentrated that half of it would have gotten you wasted - oh, shit. Did you give any to your boyfriend?"

"Mhm..."

"Good lord, you'd better apologize to him. I know it wasn't on purpose but that's not exactly a nice thing to do, y'know? Anyway, I've gotta go. I'll vouch for you if he thinks you did it intentionally."

"Hhhng... okay, Misaki~ thanks, I love you~"

Still drowsy, Chi shut the phone and let it clatter to the floor, climbing out of the bed he'd apparently been sleeping in. Someone, who he assumed was Dai, was still asleep beneath him; he hardly paid the sleeping person any mind or even looked them as he stood, noting that his left ass cheek was much colder than his right. His clothes felt funny - he as a whole felt funny. Waddling over to the mirror, it took him a moment to muster up the courage to step in front of it and face whatever he'd done the night before.

Chiaki was wearing what looked like the tattered remains of the lower half of some sort of costume. Fragments of the fabric hung down everywhere, patches of his pale skin showing through the material. Looking down, he could see that the toenails on his right foot had been painted hot pink, poking out from the hole in the foot part. His hair was largely a mess, having broken free from the product he'd used to keep it out of his face, black strands falling into a messy swoop across his forehead. When he tried to fix it, he found that his hair was full of glitter, and that a single strand of it had been bleached with what he assumed to be hydrogen peroxide - it wasn't blonde, but a sickly, off-orange colour. He made a mental note to remedy that sometime in the near future. There was no shirt on his chest, only a filthy, hole-ridden poncho whose colour was akin to that of the most visually offensive green hospital scrubs. Someone had drawn the kanji for intercourse in lipstick just above the line of his left hip, and when he turned around, he saw his bare ass cheek displayed out of a gigantic hole in the fabric - judging by the teeny little tail it was probably a bear costume. Oh, and there was a ten-thousand yen note safety pinned directly in the crotch of his pants, along with several extra-large condoms that had somehow found their way into the mostly intact bear-shoe-fabric-thing that was covering his left foot.

TL;DR? Chiaki looked like one hell of a hot mess.

There were many questions that buzzed around in Chiaki's head - where did my underwear go? Why aren't I hung over? Just what the hell did I do to end up like this and oh, god, what does Dai look like? Is he still alive? - but they were of little consequence to him. It was more than a little strange, in fact, the way he was able to stare at that insane reflection of him with barely any discomfort. If anything, he wished that he could remember what on earth kind of adventure they'd gone on, but his memory stopped right after they left the park. A pity.

Chiaki was also aware that he needed to apologize to Dai on numerous different levels - speaking of which, where did he go? "Dai... uh... are you awake?" he asked, hoping that the boy he'd fallen asleep on top of was indeed his boyfriend.

The loud foreign ringtone ringing in his ear was not helping the pounding headache that Dai was having. He would have thrown a pillow over his head to block out the noise if he had enough energy. At this moment, Dai couldn't even open his eyes. Just lying in semi consciousness was all he could handle. He heard voices, but it was as if they were underwater, muffled and fuzzy.

Memories of hello kitty bottles, hamburgers and so called adventures flashed in and out before Dai could really understand what they meant.

"Dai... uh... are you awake?" A voice asked. He could hear this person normally. That was a good sign.

He groaned and groggily waved his hand at the sound of the voice. Millions of poorly formed questions passed through his mind as he tried to wake himself up. Had the ringing stopped? Who was talking? Was there someone even talking or was that a dream? Why did it get so cold? Why was everything so... fuzzy?

Wait.

Fuzzy.

There was definitely something fuzzy actually touching him. Touching him somewhere that nothing should be touching him. Slowly prying open his eyes Dai, lifted the covers to a fun little surprise. He was completely naked other than the fuzzy underwear around his hips, if you could even call them that. Dai screamed, fully alert and awake now. What the fuck happened.

Pulling the sheets up to his chest, he whipped his head around to see who was in the room with him. When he set his eyes on his boyfriend a wave of fear and relief hit him at the same time. What was he wearing? What on earth.... "CH-CH-CH-CH-CHI!" He squeaked, "WH-WHAT ARE YOU WEARING... WHY AM I.... OHMYGOSHOHMYGOSHWHAT.." Dai began to hyperventilate.

Initially, Dai hadn't responded at all to Chi's question - most likely asleep, or too hungover to move - but he could see the other boy's eyes opening slowly from across the room as he lifted up the covers and let out horrible shriek. Chi thought he'd caught a glimpse of furry underwear before his boyfriend pulled the covers up around him, absolutely panicked in every way.

"CH-CH-CH-CH-CHI!" Dai squeaked out, eyes finally taking in how ridiculous he looked. "WH-WHAT ARE YOU WEARING... WHY AM I.... OHMYGOSHOHMYGOSHWHAT.." He was starting to hyperventilate, and Chi didn't fully know how to handle it. Recoiling from the initial scream, he blinked slowly and tried to come up with something helpful to say. Was he supposed to hug him? Slap him? Throw something heavy at him? Chi'd never had to deal with anything remotely like this before and it was somewhat scary.

"The bottom half of a bear suit and a poncho," Chi said, settling for a vague hope that if he stayed calm, Dai would calm down as well. It was pretty hard not to laugh at himself; it was one thing for him to see that reflection and think, 'eh'; it was another thing entirely to say it out loud. It sounded completely, utterly ridiculous. "And... er... I'm not entirely sure why we're like this. Something about an adventure? I can't remember it, but it must have been fun. But... I'm guessing you don't know, either? Must have been the alcohol..."

At this, Chi frowned, guilt flaring up again. He needed to apologize, and he needed to do it soon, but this hardly felt like the time, given the fact that Dai was broken, or something like that.

Dai couldn't hear anything at this point. Everything was back to being underwater. Fear filled his lungs like a thick liquid, cutting off any air that he hoped to be breathing in. His hands were pressed against the sides of his face, his knees up to his chest, and eyes wide in horror. He wanted to remember what happened last night. And he wanted to know right now.

All he could think about was how his father would feel if he saw him in this situation and he was instantly nauseous. His father. Holy shit. He actually couldn't breathe now. Gagging and choking sounds spilled from Dai, as he tried to suck in air. The memories were coming back now, faster and more clear. The funny tasting drink, the flirting, the kissing.

Kissing.

No. No way, he didn't lose his first kiss while he was drunk. No. There was no way that could be possible. Tears pricked the back of his baby blues, and he could really feel that drink resurfacing now. He turned to Chiaki with tears in his eyes, slowly dropping his hands, "W-We kissed." A tear fell before he could wipe it, and he gave his Chi a sad smile, "We kissed a lot, Chi." He wrapped the blanket around him like a jacket before he swung his legs over the bed and hopped down from the top bunk, wiping at his tears.

"Chi..." he whimpered, "I'm glad it was with you but I'm sorry I didn't want it..." He stomach lurched, "Oh God...." he whispered, placing a hand over his mouth, "I'm going to...." rushing to the bathroom, Dai threw open the toilet and wretched into it.

Even from across the room, Chiaki could see that Daisuke was still ridiculously upset - there were tears in his eyes; and the strange vibe of self-loathing he'd picked up halfway through their makeout session had returned, so palpable in every aspect of him that it was almost unbearable. "W-We kissed," Dai said, knives piercing his heart as the first tear fell. Was this... his fault? "We kissed a lot, Chi."

"...yeah, I know," Chi responded, unable to look him in the eye. He'd managed to forget about that until now; the memories of the two of them, wasted, locking lips underneath the stars had been nothing more than hazy, saccharine specters in the back of his mind until Dai had called them back to his attention. "I'm glad it was with you but I'm sorry I didn't want it..." Someone - someone cruel - twisted the dagger that was still lodged in his chest.

Chi found that he was fighting back tears as well.

The fact that Dai'd gone rushing past him, hand over his mouth, to throw up in the toilet hardly registered with him at all. What was he supposed to do? He'd never felt this bad before, had never made anyone he cared about cry before. What was Dai even thinking about him? Was he mad? That didn't seem like the Dai he knew, but the things he remembered from the previous night suggested that there were things he just didn't feel comfortable sharing. The wan, pitiful smile he'd worn earlier was armor, of sorts: Dai's way of guarding the things he didn't want to worry people with. Chi wanted to know what was behind it, but his efforts were in vain. It wasn't like it mattered - whatever Dai was thinking at that moment, it was hardly anything good.

Retching, and the sound of something pouring into the toilet. Chi couldn't keep himself from crying anymore, even though he felt selfish for crying, drawing attention to himself when it was Dai who needed it all. "D-dai... I-I'm so sorry," he said, unable to tell whether his boyfriend had returned from the bathroom or not because he was too busy staring vacuously at the floor, scrying for an answer that was not there. "For everything. I... I didn't mean for that to happen, I was too stupid to realise what was in those bottles until it was too late.."

Chi wished that he'd stop crying, that Dai'd come back and say, 'just kidding!' and everything between them would revert to the way it was. Chi wished that he did not feel so terribly cold, now that he'd made someone - someone incredibly special - cry their eyes out, hyperventilate. "A-and then.. I... I took your first kiss.." Stemming from his eyes, gossamer droplets fell to the floor. "I'm so sorry!"

The only person that Dai hated right now was himself. He was supposed to be the 'smart' one right? Why hadn't he immediately understand that the drink was alcoholic? Dai wretched again miserably clutching the cold bowl. He deserved this, for allowing things to get so out of hand. And this was only the things that he remembered, what about all of the things that he didn't remember? How the hell did he end up almost completely naked? There was no way that they did... it. The very thought sent him heaving again. No, he would have remembered something like that, and Chi would have told him. Yes. He would have.

Getting up from the bowl, Dai went to the sink and splashed himself in the face with water. The tall disheveled boy rubbed the tears away from his bloodshot eyes before he turned back to Chi, who seemed to be talking. Thankfully Dai had a pair of gym shorts in the bathroom. He threw them on before actually leaving the bathroom, leaving the blanket on the floor.

Dai blinked when Chi came into focus. Was Chi... crying? "Ch-Chi?" He whispered, approaching his boyfriend. He hadn't even thought that this could be affecting. His stomach stung with guilt. He was acting so selfishly. Damnit.

"For everything. I... I didn't mean for that to happen, I was too stupid to realise what was in those bottles until it was too late.."

Chi was... apologizing? That didn't make sense. None of this was Chi's fault. Dai went into instant consoling mode, casting all of his worries to the back of his mind. Okay, that was a lie. His heart was pounding in his ears and he felt like he could just die at any point but, he wouldn't let Chi see that.

"A-and then.. I... I took your first kiss. I'm so sorry!"

With shaky hands, Dai cupped Chi's face, bringing it upward to look at his. "Sh sh." He whispered, using his thumb to wipe the tears from the other's face, "Chi, you made us a beautiful picnic that I loved, and I'll remember forever. Chi there was no way that you could have known that drink was alcoholic. I knew there was something wrong and I didn't say anything. So if you're going to blame yourself, you might as well be blaming me." He smiled, stepping closer to the shorter boy. "And Chi... I'm glad you took my first kiss, I just wish we weren't drunk when it happened." Dai was trying hard now to hold back the tears. Damnit, he was so sappy. He wanted his first kiss to be romantic and meaningful, instead it was dirty, sloppy and hazy.

Somewhere along the line, Dai's hands - shaking, uncertain - had made it around his face; the purple-haired boy's eyes were bloodshot and very obviously not out of tears. Chi felt his heart lurch as their eyes locked, felt the need to continue crying wane, for the moment.

They were closer, now, and though Chi still hadn't came back down to earth he was painfully aware that Dai had swallowed whatever he'd been feeling earlier in order to offer him comfort. This gesture, while sweet, was enough to make his eyes water again, a few tears spilling over as his boyfriend continued to speak.

"No." Chi shook his head, looking up at the taller boy. Blame him? For what? "You're blameless, Daisuke. You always have been and you always will be." He was aware that Outer Dai would shrug it off, something to that effect, but there was no way he'd ever blame him for anything. Ever. Daisuke was incapable of hurting anything, even intentionally.

"Don't worry about me - I'm sad because I made you sad." Chi wiped his eyes. "But I don't want you to pretend to be okay, alright? I can tell you're upset about something, Daisuke, and that it's most likely my fault."

Or it's your father, Chi thought, biting back the last part because this was neither the time nor place to open up whatever scars that subject entailed. Dai hadn't talked about it for very long or in great detail, but Chi was perceptive enough to know that he'd downplayed just how much it upset him. It wasn't that hard to draw the connection - he had a homophobic father who wouldn't speak to him, and he'd also just drunkenly made out with his boyfriend. It would have been perfectly plausible for him to be upset, though not at this level - but knowing this was pointless at the moment. They'd discuss it another time, another place.

"There's always next time." Chi said, smiling a little. "I've had it with alcohol, anyway. I like remembering the fun stuff we do together."

Dai continued to wipe the tears off Chi's face as he spoke, "No. You're blameless, Daisuke. You always have been and you always will be." Dai gave a small shake of his head, while the usual sheepish smile painted itself onto his features. Chi was too kind, even in this state, he was making feeling Dai feel better.

It was then that Dai really realized how lucky he actually was. He was almost 100 percent sure that the farthest they went last night was kissing, and that was probably because Chi didn't allow for that to happen. From what Dai could remember, he was the aggressive one. There was a foggy memory of looking down at the other boy, that sent a wave of heat through Daisuke. Holy shit, he had been on top of Chi once. Dai mentally shook away the rising panic, and focused on his fortune. If it was anyone else they would have taken advantage of Daisuke, but Chi didn't. He was happy that it was him.

"Don't worry about me - I'm sad because I made you sad." Dai dropped his hands and stepped away as Chi wiped at his own irritated eyes.

"Oh but Chi you didn't..." He began, raising his hand slowly, but deciding against extending it to it's fullest.

"But I don't want you to pretend to be okay, alright? I can tell you're upset about something, Daisuke, and that it's most likely my fault."

Dai gasped, horrified that Chi could think he was at fault for Daisuke being upset. "Th-That's not true!" Dai took a half step toward the boy, placing a hand to his shoulder. "I-I mean I was sad that I had my first kiss when I was drunk, but that's only because I wanted it to be special and romantic when we kissed." He took his trembling hand off of Chi, crossed his arms and rubbed his elbows nervously. Even though most people wouldn't understand, this was a huge step for Dai. He said when we kissed, not my first kiss, and he said it on purpose. He wanted Chi to know that he was more important than the title of first kiss. It wasn't about first kisses, it was about ruining a precious milestone for them with alcohol.

"There's always next time." Chi said, that adorable smile on his face. "I've had it with alcohol, anyway. I like remembering the fun stuff we do together."

Dai smiled, and wrapped his arms around Chi's neck, pulling him into a hug, "Yeah so do I." This should be it. The end right? But something wasn't settling in Dai's stomach. It turned desperately, telling him--no, screaming at him that he was forgetting something. He racked his brain, but couldn't think of anything. Dai pulled away from Chi and looked at him, "Hey Chi, did I say weird things last night? Anything that you remember?"

Chi felt better, now, Dai's reassurance effectively wiping away his worries like his hands had wiped away his tears. He was so sweet that it almost hurt. The thought, 'I'm falling for him,' entered his mind for a moment; the butterflies and insane, fleeting happiness that it produced were crying out that it was true. Chi wondered whether Dai felt the same way, Chi hoped fervently that he did.

"Yeah so do I," Dai said, draping his arms around Chi's neck as he pulled him into a hug. He sniffled a little, burying his face in the much, much taller boy's chest and tried not to think about the way his last statement had lacked finality, how Dai'd looked confused and utterly lost as he closed the gap between them. At least they'd finished crying. "Y'know, for a drunken kiss, it was pretty romantic," Chi said, reveling in how good it felt to be this close to the object of his affection. "We were all alone under the stars, and you were so good... ah... Can't wait to do that sober." He laughed, feeling like he'd taken the first step towards acting like his normal self again. "Anyway, I'd like to try again. Sometime soon. You bring the fireworks, I'll bring the shoujo sparkles?"

"Hey Chi, did I say weird things last night? Anything that you remember?" Dai pulled away from him, looking dazed as what he assumed to be the midday sun filtered through the closed blinds across the room. Chi's smile evaporated into something a little more blank as he thought about what to say. He wasn't going to lie and say, 'no, Dai, you didn't say anything'. That was certain and that wasn't the kind of person he was; but he could tell that dealing with this issue would take extreme caution and a delicate touch. Ha, he thought, this coming from a boy in a decrepit bear costume and a poncho.

"You didn't say anything... weird," Chi shook his head. "You just talked about your mom... and your dad. How your dad won't talk to you," he blinked slowly, feeling the backs of his eyes sting a little even though no tears were forming. "and your mom stands up for you. That you miss her." The mood in this room was shifting too quickly for his taste, roller-coasting from happy to sad to miserable to sympathetic and back again. Or, maybe, it was just him. Chi wasn't sure. "That's why you've seemed sadder, lately, right? Your parents?"

Chi's face pushed against his chest, and Dai could feel the rising butterflies. He wasn't short enough that Dai had to strain to snuggle into Chi's hair, a loving gesture that he adored. He wasn't too tall either. Then again that wasn't something anyone could really do.

"Y'know, for a drunken kiss, it was pretty romantic. We were all alone under the stars, and you were so good... ah... Can't wait to do that sober."

"So good huh?" he barely whispered. Dai felt the heat rush to his cheeks again. A strange feeling accompanied his embarrassment, it was a foreign emotion that Dai couldn't really point out. Something... almost like he felt on top of the world because he was a good kisser. Pride. Dai felt proud to be a good kisser to someone he thought must have had many kisses in his life.

"Anyway, I'd like to try again. Sometime soon. You bring the fireworks, I'll bring the shoujo sparkles?"

"Ah but you know, I have those shoujo sparkles stocked up in my closet, and you seem more of the firework type." He smiled, looking down at Chi. The air between them was finally returning to normal. No more of that tension, that sadness, and that regret. Or at least, it lasted for a while.

"You didn't say anything... weird."

"Oh thank God I--" Dai began, before he was interrupted by Chi again,

"You just talked about your mom... and your dad. How your dad won't talk to you, and your mom stands up for you. That you miss her."

Dai's arms fell from Chi, to hang limply at the sides of his torso. He didn't even know what to feel. The very sentence sucked all emotions from his body leaving him an empty shell. It was his worst nightmare come to be. But again... that small feeling of relief hit him. A weight off his shoulders. This was Chi. Someone that he wanted no secrets with. He wanted everything out on the table right? This was a good thing.

I will not let you ruin this relationship. he thought angrily toward his memories.

"That's why you've seemed sadder, lately, right? Your parents?"

Dai nodded, still shell shocked. The urge to change the subject was so strong that Dai racked his brain for excuses. Chi already knew right? So there was no need to dwell on the subject. "Yeah, they've been on my mind a lot lately, but it's fine now." He smiled, trying to dismiss the subject. "Sorry I dumped that on you." His fingers twitched nervously, and he placed them behind his back to stop them from shaking.

The moment Chi mentioned Dai's parents, his arms fell to his side, an unreadable expression on his face. Had he done the right thing by pointing it out, or was he pouring salt on an open wound? No, I had to. The idea of lying to Dai about anything was inconceivable, no matter how caustic the truth may have been. Besides, Dai must have wanted to tell him somewhere inside; he had just lacked the strength to admit it while sober. Chi looked up at Dai, the magic words to make everything peachy-keen nothing more than a bunch of worthless, impossible to grasp smoke in his brain.

"Yeah, they've been on my mind a lot lately, but it's fine now." A lie, one constructed to sway the subject somewhere other than where it was at the moment, somewhere less painful. It was hard not to push the issue, but this wasn't the sort of thing that could be resolved in a day. Chi smiled back, determined to be the one that helped Dai fight off his demons. The taller boy's fingers were shaking, which he tried to hide by placing his hands awkwardly behind his head. "Sorry I dumped that on you."

Chiaki shook his head. "Don't apologize! You can talk to me about anything!" He held his breath as he walked slowly up to Dai, their chests mere inches apart. From the sky he plucked Dai's trembling hands and brought them down, cradling each within one of his own. "'Whistle, and I'll come running,' remember?" He descended from where he stood on his tiptoes, letting his bare heels press down on the floor. The surface was cold, but Chi was burning up. "So don't worry, alright?" he gave the hands he was holding a quick squeeze. "I'm here."

"Don't apologize! You can talk to me about anything!"

Chi, stop being so nice to me. You're too wonderful. the tall boy thought, not having the courage to say the thoughts out loud. He was such a coward. He wanted to tell all these things to Chi, but... there was just something stopping him.

'He's just a nuisance to everyone.'

Dai sucked in a breath, surprised by the amount of pain that accompanied the words spoken by his father not too long ago. The wounds were still fresh and painful to the touch. As if the words had been spoken to his mother a second before. But before he could get enveloped into his horrible memories, Chi saved him. As he always did.

His trembling hands had turned into a full on shaking, but they were gently held by Chi's smaller ones. They were so warm and comforting, just like the first time. "'Whistle, and I'll come running,' remember? So don't worry, alright? I'm here."

Was he actually going to cry again? "How?" Dai smiled, the tears returning to his eyes, "How do you do that thing where you say everything I need?" He sniffed, feeling really stupid for have saying something so cheesy. And he was crying... again. Shit, this was getting overdone, crying, happy, crying, happy. Dai had to be getting annoying. "I'm sorry, I keep crying over stupid things..."

"How?" Dai asked, still smiling even though there were tears in his eyes. "How do you do that thing where you say everything I need?"

It sounded like a line straight from a terribly written Lifetime movie. My favourite kind. Chiaki's heart skipped a beat, though none of this was displayed outwardly. To show his appreciation, he gave Dai's hands another squeeze, if only to remind him that Chi was indeed there and always would be. "You realize you're saying all these nice, romantic things to the boy with the kanji for intercourse written on his hip in lipstick, right?" He giggled, standing on his toes again so he could reach Dai's face, wiping away the remaining droplets with the back of his boyfriend's hand. As pretty as the tears looked with the midday sun refracting through them, they were entirely out of place. Chi didn't want them to be there, ever. "I'm sorry, I keep crying over stupid things..."

"Oh, you're silly."

Chiaki found himself overpowered by the urge to give Dai a nice kiss on the forehead; with the barriers of height difference and uncertainty towards any physical contact besides hand holding, he decided against it. From now on it'd be Dai's job to push them further physically - that was the only way he'd be absolutely sure that they weren't doing anything he didn't want to do. "It's never stupid to cry, so don't hold yourself back, okay? It's bad to keep it inside."

"You realize you're saying all these nice, romantic things to the boy with the kanji for intercourse written on his hip in lipstick, right?"

Dai blinked, "You have what?" He asked, pulling away from his boyfriend to look down at his hip bone. His hand reached down and he ran his thumb across the smudged kanji lettering on Chi's bare hipbone.Suddenly the memory of sloppily drawing that symbol, flashed into his head. Red dashed across his cheeks and he held Chi close again, "Yeah I think that was me... sorry." The action seemed normal at first, but when Dai realized what he was doing he casually brought his hand up, trying to pretend that didn't happen.

"It's never stupid to cry, so don't hold yourself back, okay? It's bad to keep it inside."

He couldn't hold back his weak laughter, "Okay, I'll try and tell you whenever something is bothering me, but only if you promise that you'll tell me things that bother you too." Dai couldn't stand the thought of Chi not being able to tell Dai things, and if that's the way that he was making Chi feel by holding all of this back... well he didn't want that.

"Chi... something's bothering me." It was strange to be smiling, but Daisuke couldn't help it. "...I want you to kiss me. Maybe not right now, just... whenever you want to. Don't let this, " he motioned to himself and all of his surroundings, "Stop you from.. I don't know... being your affectionate self. I like when you do cute things." His smile only grew bigger.

Apparently Dai hadn't been paying very close attention to the look he had going, because that kanji was pretty blatant, blood red against his ghostly pale skin. It was apparent by the blush on Dai's cheeks that he'd finally remembered how it'd gotten there; Chi was about to ask when he was pulled in close again, letting his face rest against the bare skin of his chest. Dai was shirtless and wearing only a pair of gym shorts. This realization, quite obvious, felt overdue as Chi blushed just a little, barely perceptible.

"Okay, I'll try and tell you whenever something is bothering me, but only if you promise that you'll tell me things that bother you too."

Chi laughed too, genuine if a little weak. "Of course!~ If I can't tell you something, who could I tell it to?" Dai really was that person for him, wasn't he? The one that he always felt completely comfortable talking to no matter the subject. He thought about Chobits and the 'one just for me' and wondered whether that was relevant to him as well.

And then Dai said something about something that was bothering him. Chi raised an eyebrow, looking inquisitively up at Dai. As the taller boy spoke, it felt like he'd somehow read his mind about passing the baton of aggression to him. Chi blushed for what felt like the thousandth time, the words, 'I like when you do cute things,' playing over and over in his mind. Dai thinks I'm cute.

"Hmm, alright, if you say so!" Chi put his hands on his hips, turning his neck upward so he could look directly into Dai's eyes. "I like physical contact... a lot. Although I've only really done it with you. That's not the point, though!" He could remember with startling clarity the way he'd felt while they kissed, how much effort it had taken him to restrain himself. If he had been running the show it would have been entirely more chaste, but drunk Daisuke had had other ideas. Not that he was going to complain, but it certainly would have been worse if he hadn't exercised restraint. "But you'd better tell me to stop! I'm not sure if I'll be able to hold myself back next time~"
