Character(s): Yukine Suzumura and anyone who wants to join~ Time: 11:30 AM Location: Library
Yukine walked into the library, slightly in awe at the wide varieties of books they had here. She had decided to spend her lunch break in the library, looking through the books they had and maybe even borrowing one while she was at it, rather than in the cafeteria. The cafeteria was a bit too loud and crowded for her tastes. She preferred the library over it considering it was almost the exact opposite, quiet and usually had a lack of visitors.
Perhaps it was because she used to be an introvert, that she had come to love books? Sometimes her father would force her to go out somewhere and get some fresh air so the library was one of the few places she could go to without feeling apprehensive due to the lack of people that usually went to there. Since she used to have a lot of spare time, which she mostly dedicated to practicing her singing, a book now and then was good way to pass time.
While walking over to the rows of shelves, Yukine had decided to try looking through the fiction area first. Her favorite genre was fantasy. She scanned through the aisle, picking out a book here and there if it interested her. Eventually she encountered a book that was a bit too high for her to reach. She tried tippy-toeing, but she still couldn't seem to reach it. She looked around to see if there was a stool or maybe a librarian nearby but to no avail.
The thought of asking someone else for help had crossed Yukine's mind, but she was still a bit afraid to speak with others, let alone asking for help. She was able to speak with someone a few days ago, but that was different in her opinion. She knew he was a nice person, which made it a little easier for her to talk to him. Here, she had to pick someone to ask, without knowing anything about him or her. For all she knew, the person she'd ask could be a rude person.
Yukine pursed her lips as she tried one more time to reach the book but still didn't make it.

Mayumi had never been to Aozora's library before, mainly because she had never had a reason too - she wasn't much of a bookworm - but, now that she had one, she was excited to see the inside. Mayumi had walked past the library many times, wondering what the tall building looked like behind closed doors.
Upon entering, she stopped in her tracks and stared in awe at the large stacks of books. It reminded her of her father's library at home. Mayumi smiled slightly, taking a few more steps into the large hall.
She spent a long time looking around the library - specifically for the section of sheet music she had overheard two students discussing. Mayumi went up and down the aisles, searching, but she found something she hadn't counted on.
A girl, standing on the tips of her toes and reaching for something on a high shelf. Her arms were laden with books already, and Mayumi didn't think she would have been able to reach it anyway.
She stepped forward and - being nearly a foot taller than the other girl - reached up and snatched the book with ease, bringing it down to the shorter girl's level and handing it to her.

Yukine was surprised when a girl, maybe a year or two older and almost a foot taller than her, walked over towards her, grabbed the book she was trying to get and handed it over to her. She hesitantly grabbed the book from her and held it close to her along with the other books she had.
"She helped so she can't be a bad person... Oh, I-I should probably hurry and thank her..." Yukine thought to herself as her grip on the books she was holding tightened. She hurriedly looked up at the older, black-haired girl and gave her a short bow.
"T-Thank you... very much for um... helping me...!" Yukine said and looked back up at her. "S-Should I introduce myself...? This could be another chance to make a friend..."[/i] She thought nervously as she bit her bottom lip. She then shifted around, moving the books so that one arm supported them as she lifted her, now free, hand towards the other girl for a handshake.
"U-Um... I'm Yukine Suzumura! I'm a first year in the vocal division..." She said, giving a small, shy smile. "uh, Is it alright if I ask for your name, also...?"

"T-Thank you... very much for um... helping me...!"
Mayumi simply nodded at her thanks. She hadn't done much, and didn't feel that thanking her was necessary. She lightly shrugged it off and looked down at the girl.
"U-Um... I'm Yukine Suzumura! I'm a first year in the vocal division..." the girl said, then, shifting her literature around, offered Mayumi her hand and added, "uh, Is it alright if I ask for your name, also...?"
The girl was small, with long dark hair, almost like a smaller version of Mayumi herself. She looked timid, too, like Kakeru Shizuma had been when he and Mayumi had met. It was endearing - their timidness - but the older girl didn't know why.
Mayumi shook Yukine's hand quickly before responding. "Mayumi Yoshida, a second year in the vocal division, as well."

Rei was, quite frankly, lost again. His hands were in in his pockets as he casually walked into the library, as though he had a purpose for being there. He stopped mid-step and his eyebrows raised as he noticed all the different books spread throughout the library.
His attention snapped to the two young ladies having a conversation near a shelve of books. They looked old enough to have been here at least a year so they might know where things are. He sighed as he walked over to them, hating to have to ask for help, doing that just hurt his pride. He put on a smile when he approached them and waved slightly.
"Hello ladies, I hate to bother you, but I'm looking for the staff dorms and I'm...well I'm a bit at a loss for finding it, I don't suppose you could help me, could you?" He asked them as politely as he could.

Another set of footsteps startled Mayumi, and she turned on her heel to face a man that... looked nothing like a student, yet she hadn't seen him around Aozora even when she visited the year previous.
"Hello ladies, I hate to bother you, but I'm looking for the staff dorms and I'm...well I'm a bit at a loss for finding it, I don't suppose you could help me, could you?" His voice was unfamiliar, as well.
She cocked her head at him a bit, wondering why, if he were a teacher, he would be asking two students the way to his own living quarters, but, then again, if he really was a new teacher, there was the possibility that he really had no idea how to get there.
Clearing her throat, Mayumi answered, "I have no idea," then added, "Didn't they give you a map when you arrived?"

"Mayumi Yoshida, a second year in the vocal division, as well." Mayumi had replied after quickly shaking Yukine's hand. Yukine's smile widened a bit when she heard that Mayumi was also in the vocal division.
"Ah, um, I'd love to hear you sing one day, Mayumi-senpai...!" Yukine said, with a slight tone of excitement. She was happy that she was able to speak to yet another person. It proved that she was slowly getting over her fears. She looked to the side when she noticed an older man approaching. He didn't look like a student so she assumed he was a teacher. He smiled as he waved and stopped in front of them.
"Hello ladies, I hate to bother you, but I'm looking for the staff dorms and I'm...well I'm a bit at a loss for finding it, I don't suppose you could help me, could you?" He asked with a polite tone. Mayumi had mentioned the school map which made Yukine turn to him, while shuffling through her messenger bag with her free hand to find the school map she had. Once she had found it, she took it out of her bag.
"U-um, here you go. If you don't have one, I have a map of the school so... uh... You can look at it if you want" Yukine said as she handed the school map over to the older man.

"Didn't they give you a map when you arrived?"
Rei put his face in his hand for a brief moment in defeat. Yes they had given him a map, where it was, he had no clue. "Yes they did I just...misplaced it."
"U-um, here you go. If you don't have one, I have a map of the school so... uh... You can look at it if you want"
Rei's face lit up slightly by the young girls words and he took the map from her hands and bowed to her humbly. "Thank you very much miss." He examined the map with a complex expression for a couple of minutes and then handed it back to the girl.
"I really appreciate it, I would truly be lost without you." He chuckled, rubbed the back of his head, and smiled at the two. "I'm sorry I wasn't able to introduce myself first, I was just a little troubled with being lost. I'm Rei Renjiro, the new math teacher here."
He bowed slightly again. "Might I know your names?" He asked politely.

Mayumi heard him say "math teacher," and internally groaned. She'd never much cared for math, and her hatred had grown steadily since she started high school, and, now Aozora Academy. It wasn't that she was bad at math, she just didn't enjoy the subject.
She felt that the time it took learning what the square root of thirty-six was could be spent perfecting her piano skills.
"Might I know your names?" Renjiro-sensei asked the two girls.
Mayumi glanced down at Yukine for a brief moment, wondering what was running through her mind, but opened her mouth to reply instead of asking her.
"I'm Mayumi Yoshida," she pointed to herself, then at the girl juggling the large stack of books. "This is Yukine Suzumura."

"Thank you very much miss." The man had replied as he took the map from Yukine's hand. She sighed in relief that she had been of some help, glad that she had forgotten to take the map of the school out of her bag. She stood nervously while waiting for the teacher to look over the map to find the path to his destination.
"I really appreciate it, I would truly be lost without you." He said as he looked up from the map and handed it back to her. She assumed he had memorized the path to the staff dorm so she took the map and put it back in her bag, giving the older man a small smile. "N-no problem. I just happened to have the school map with me still."
He had then bowed and introduced himself with a smile as Rei Renjiro, the new math teacher and asked for their names. "I-It's nice to meet you." She replied after Mayumi had introduced Yukine for her.

After the girls had introduced themselves, he bowed once again and smiled. "It's a pleasure to make your acquaintances. I suppose I've taken up more of your time than I had planned to, I'm sorry. I should be off to prepare for my next class. I do hope I'll see you two in there soon. Fair well."
He smiled warmly once more and turned to walk toward the exit, praying he read the map right.

Hibiki wasn't used to the large confusing campus, as she opened the large doors, into the library. Even with a map, she had accidentally walked into many different rooms. It was embarrassing and she was in a horrible mood already from that.
All she wanted was to grab a few horror Novels and a Music Theory book.
Passing an older male, Hibiki glanced around and noticed the Music section in front of her. She sighed, making her paces quicker, as she went over there. Two other girls were there, and she glanced at them, before staring down, her eyes roaming the bottom rows for a book that peaked her interests.
