Characters: Arlette Yuen-Winchester, Rylen Fubuki, and whoever who like to join them Time: 5.40pm Location: Town Park
With her hands in the pockets of a long black jacket, Arlette ambled through the town park. It wasn't far from the Aozora campus, and it wasn't difficult to navigate through. The leaves on the great branches above her were turning a myriad of colors, shades of ocher and red and pumpkin-orange and yellow, and the September breeze ran through her pale brown hair.
Some of the children played in sandy patches, digging with the kid-tools they had, while others called out to one another, with others swinging up high and down low again like pendulums on the swings.
Maybe i'll take a short rest on a bench..." She thought out loud as the side end of a wooden bench came into view as she approached it, her boots tapping rhythmically against the stone pavement.

Today was nice, breezy but nice. The warm color of the leaves countered the cold wind blowing through the academy. Rylen decided to take a nice stroll at the nearby park.
He stuffed his harmonica into his side pocket, his DS and wallet in his back pocket. he took out the camera his mother had bought him and hanged over his neck before stepping out of his dorm.
He walked down the pavement, seeing both new and old faces and was about to wave when his stomach growled with hunger. Rylen stepped into the cafeteria. He eyed a large order of fries, bought it, paid it, and was on his way again.
The park was beautiful, trees of different shades and sizes blended in almost like a painting. The roar of laughter came in all directions and Rylen kept on walking even past a girl in his class.

The wooden bench she sat on was still quite cold, Arlette decided, crossing one over the other, stuffing her hands in her pockets.
A boy with a DSLR hanging from his neck appeared from around the bend, and she could see the boy had stuffed his back pocket with a DS console and something small -a waller maybe-? He looked vaguely familiar, the combination of his glasses and hair, Arlette had seen him before.
"Hey," Arlette leaned back into the bench and called out as he passed him, "you're from my English class, aren't you?" Above her, the crisp autumn leaves were starting to fall.

Rylen stopped and turned his head towards a voice calling out to him. "Oh? Am I really? You do look familiar..." He paused a bit before putting some fries in his mouth.
"Ohp Chaah Chur uhm....Arlette right?" He asked before swallowing. "So uh what are you doing here alone?"
Rylen decided to sit down next to her and to get to know her better.

"Mm hmm," She said as she watched him sit down, swallowing a mouthful of fries. "Just decided to get out of the grounds, ya know. Starting to get a bit cooped out."
"How about you?" Arlette asked, eyeing his fries, Would he mind if i stole some? "And, ah, what is your name, boy-who-eats-fries?"

He gave her a glare before shifting the fries out of view She's looking at my fries oh hell no
"The name is Rylen, Rylen Fubuki." He leans forward in a slight bow "I just got bored, so I decided to take in the scenery..then I got hungry."
Rylen started to feel bad so he offered her one, just one fry before putting it out of view again. "Hey have a fry." He said smiling at her.

"Fries, something warm for a cold day." Arlette started as she reached for one Rylen had just offered, "thanks."
"So Rylen Fubuki, nice to meet you. Does it mean anything?" Arlette asked, always interested by names from different cultures. "And since you're in Aozora too, what's your major?"

"Oh ho ho ho ho, my name is Rylen Fubuki, third year singing major! My name is a portmanteau of Ryan and Ryley which would mean king of the land and Fubuki will it literally means snow storm, so my whole name means King of the Snow storm land!" Rylen said confidently his chest puffing up a bit.
"So how about you miss?" He said smiling at her before stuffing a fry into his mouth.

"King of the snowstorm land, eh?" Arlette chuckled, "snowy. Mr. Snowy. And third-year singing major, huh?" Something about Rylen made him seem friendly, and she was close to asking him to sing a song, or play that harmonica she saw he had. Beaming, Arlette replied, "Well, as you know, I'm Arlette Yuen-Winchester, second year, acting major."

"Hey!.....I like that name" Rylen said smiling. Listening as she talked. Rylen stood in a fake pose "TOO BE OR NOT TO BE THAT IS THE QUESTION." He spoke in front of the girl he then realized how ridiculous he looked so he sat down next to her still eating a fry.

"TO BE OR NOT TO BE THAT IS THE QUESTION."
"Snowy, yes, to be," Arlette replied with a smile. "Snowy-sempai, singing-major."
Out of the corner of her eye, she saw something poke up of the jacket Rylen wore. "What's that?" She pointed to said object, maybe it was a small instrument of sorts? If Arlette knew him better, she would've just whipped it out of his pocket, but she didn't, and certainly did not wish him to think she was crazy or rude or whatnot.
