Character(s): Kouhaku Kono, Amaya Nakamura -whoever else Time: lunch time Location: in one of the treatment rooms
It was a fact that Kou had been sitting there for more than twenty minutes now, bleeding. It was also a fact that he couldn't look at himself (his hand specifically) and he refused to touch it by more than just washing it. Eyes closed the whole time, the first person to attend to him sat him down and told him to wait for somebody to take a look at it and make sure it wasn't infected.
And again, it had been twenty minutes since that was last said to him. All he really wanted to do was get out now and all he ever wished for was for that blasted cut across his palm to heal so he could make fists properly and actually use it --despite it being his right (as he was left handed).
He frowned when, after five minutes had passed, the door did not open and he noted that the wound was still dripping all over the damn place. He felt himself actually losing the blood, though it came out in short droplets and not all at-gory-once (which was good for him) --except by now he felt that should he faint, it would be due to how disgusting he thought the wound looked instead of actual blood loss from it.
Still with his eyes shut tightly he adjusted himself on the seat and grumbled out loud,
"dammit, when is somebody going to come in here and get this thing away from my sight." He said, a lot more panicked than agitated. Making his voice a lot more shaky and squeaky than anything.

Amaya had finished her lunch quite early- she had only eaten a sandwich, after all. And she didn't exactly sit with anyone, so the holdup by conversation didn't apply to her.
Amaya was a curious one; she hadn't explored every bit of the campus yet, which she aimed to do. Walking down a hallway with the light, delicate steps of a dancer, she ended up walking past the treatment rooms, slightly oblivious until something- or rather, someone- caught her eye. The stranger seemed to be a girl, around her age, with shining black locks and a pretty face. The unknown girl was sitting in a chair, trying to avoid looking at--
Oh dear.
Her hand was bleeding. Immensely.
Her instincts immediately began to lead; she was now walking a bit cautiously towards her, with the intentions of aiding the girl. "A-Are you okay...?!" Amaya's voice trailed off into a bit of panic, her mind scrambling to find a solution to the bleeding. "You need help!"
She looked around, in hopes of finding a nurse around that could help, but she found none. It was up to her, she decided. She didn't have too much experience in helping others with physical injuries, but she could try, at least. There were plenty of supplies in the cabinets located in the room.

He bit back the "do I look like I'm okay" response and swallowed, settling for, "n-not so much? My hand is still bleeding and I can't open my eyes to look at it. I don't want to."
Kou had no idea who this was or whose voice it could have been but it sounded kind enough for him to trust with his life --or at least trust enough to keep his hand in tact. He hoped that when he opened his eyes it would still be there when he checked.
"You need help!"
"That is...a great observation, Miss. I can't tell if you're a nurse or not but please get something to stop the--" his voice rose a pitch higher "bleeding. A-and look, I'm sorry if I seem like such a dickwad right now but I promise when the wound's all hidden out of plain sight I'll be nice and do you a favor or something. Just please, help me."

"That is...a great observation, Miss. I can't tell if you're a nurse or not but please get something to stop the-- bleeding. A-and look, I'm sorry if I seem like such a dickwad right now but I promise when the wound's all hidden out of plain sight I'll be nice and do you a favor or something. Just please, help me."
"I-I'm sorry, so sorry! I-I'll go get the stuff since I can't seem to find anyone nearby that can help..." And she immediately set off to search through the cabinets in the room. Quick, almost panicked steps brought her to the wooden cabinets, a thin, delicate hand reaching out to throw open the doors. Luckily, she was opening the second one she managed to reach when she found the first aid supplies. A sigh of relief was let out, as she took them out and set them on the table below.
Bandages, bandages, where are you, she mused to herself as she shuffled through the items... and what d'ya know, they were in the first aid kit box, hidden behind the band-aids. But first, she felt it was necessary to clean the wound, leading her to briskly walk back over to her temporary patient, taking them by the hand (the good one) and lifting them up. "Come here, I need to clean that first."
Leading them over to the sink, she took the injured hand gently and placed it under the faucet, turning on the water to get it running, at a soft pace so it wouldn't injure it further Once she got all the extra blood out of the way, she could see the wound a bit clearer. It was a gash, somewhat deep, but deep enough to see why it had been bleeding so much.
Then she turned it off, walking a bit further to the table that she had the first aid supplies set on. Picking up the cloth bandages, she took the end of one and began wrapping it around the hand she was holding, slowly. She began humming a sweet melody under her breath as she worked, trying to calm her earlier panic..

Kou resisted the strongest urge to clench his fists when the wound came into contact with water. He barely had time to register that he was being lead toward a sink until he felt it sting again with all the pain in the world. He heard himself whimper as his only response to how much it hurt and his shoulders stiffened while his other hand clenched.
"H-hey thanks," his eyes finally opened at the touch of her hand wrapping the badage around his wounded one and the sound of her voice --but he only caught sight of somebody he wasn't familiar with, although it was no surprise since he was a freshman (and relatively new) it was a wonder how another student wandered in here. She did have a pretty voice though.
"So you sing?" He inquired, wonderment in the way he looked at her. She was really girlish looking too, not that that was uncommon but ever since he entered the academy he'd been acquainted with guys, from his best friend down to his roommate. It was a nice change.
"Can I get the name of my pretty nurse~?"

"H-Hey thanks."
She looked up from her work, and a smile settled on her expression. "It's the least I could do." She wished that she had found a nurse to properly treat his wound, but she had ended up with her own handiwork. It didn't look so bad, she reassured herself. As long as it was no longer bleeding, and clean, it was fine.
She was almost done wrapping his hand when she heard 'her patient' speak again. "So you sing?" Amaya contemplated her answer. Saying no would be a lie, because she did sing, but not as much as dancing. So she went with the right answer. "I do, but it's not my major..."
"So can I get the name of my pretty nurse~?"
Amaya let out a small, light laugh; a layer of red coloring lightly dusted her cheeks. "Yes, you may. My name's Amaya Nakamura. What's yours?" She was always a sucker for the compliments, unfortunately. Sometimes, it proved to be inconvenient-- actually, it usually proved to be inconvenient. She wondered if this was one of those times.

He held his hand out for him to examine, now wrapped in a bandage, but he didn't (couldn't) stretch it yet since it still hurt. The girl was really good at what she did though, which Kou was very thankful for. Hadn't she stumbled into the room he probably would've fainted from blood loss (albeit the slowness of how he lost it).
"Oh, I--I see! I wouldn't apologize for calling your voice pretty though. At least you can do two of something important here!" I can't even stand on a stage long enough for people to see me do one. He dismissed the thought when the name of his savior reached his ears and he beamed happily from where he stood.
"Kouhaku Kono, Kou for short though --and I'm a dance major." He peered out into the open hall over her shoulder and saw that there were no people. Kou would've complained about good for nothing nurses but then he realized that it was pretty futile as he never...really complained about things on such a scale as that. Maybe weather and people, but secretly and not so much to act upon it, just vent, most of the time.
"So then, what do you take acting or ...dancing as well?"

"Oh, I--I see! I wouldn't apologize for calling your voice pretty though. At least you can do two of something important here!"
"Somewhat," she replied. "It gives me something else to do-- I've always been interested in every sort of art. Music, singing, dancing..."
She nodded as he responded with his name. "Kou. Got it. A pleasure to meet you, even if it was in a... strange way." A peal of laughter escaped her lips, amused by the thought. But something rang in her ears. "-- and I'm a dance major." A dance major. Finally. Someone that shared the same major as she. And possibly the same interests, at that... It felt good to have someone share the same major, but she didn't know why. There were plenty of downsides to it, like having more competition to stand out, but it was nice all the same.
"So then, what do you take acting or ...dancing as well?" She paused for a moment before answering. "I... I'm majoring in dancing, as well." It was definitely more than just her major-- it was her passion, her life, she could have said. But that sounded just plain weird in a normal conversation.
