Characters: Chiaki Yuzuru and Daisuke Kudo. Time: 9:30 P.M. Location: the park.
Chiaki'd never cooked for Daisuke before, and the anxious lump in his stomach grew as the two of them neared the park where they'd planned their picnic-dinner-star-watching-date-extravaganza. This would be their second 'official' date - they'd spent plenty of time together since their experience in the mall, but it was all informal and distinctly unromantic. This, on the other hand, had the potential to be so much more.
The wooden picnic basket in his left hand felt a little heavy as they walked; his right hand, clasped in Daisuke's hand, was nice and warm despite the October chill. They'd chosen a perfect night for this sort of thing: the stars were slowly coming out, the park was deserted, and the weather was nice enough that his breath was still nice and invisible.
When they found an acceptable spot - on top of a hill deep in the center, far away from people who would complain about teenagers out past curfew - Chiaki reluctantly slid his hand out of Daisuke's and flipped out the picnic blanket lining the top of their basket. "Hope American food's alright - that's all Misaki had for me to work with," he said, smiling as he sat down on the blanket. "I made whiskey burgers, french fries, chocolate chip cookies, and cupcakes. Oh, and she had these cute bottles that were already full, so I brought them too~" Rummaging through the basket, he pulled out two matching Hello Kitty bottles and handed one to Dai. He wasn't totally sure what was inside them - it smelled fruity, but it was clear; Misaki wouldn't keep anything bad in something that cute, would she?

For someone who had never had a boyfriend ever, Dai assumed that Chi was an awesome one. He was patient and kind and funny and... well he could probably go on for a long time. It was his first boyfriend, don't judge. Holding Chi's hand was completely different now that they had no uncertainty between them. Chi was his boyfriend, and he didn't have to feel nervous around him. His stomach flipped for different reasons now.
The past couple of days have been rough in other areas of Dai's life. His mother had not stopped calling him and pressing ignore was getting harder and harder. Chi had helped him... without knowing he did of course. He didn't mean to hide it from him... but how do you tell your boyfriend that your father hates you and you miss your mom so much that it physically hurts? You just don't bring that up.
Dai couldn't help but notice that Chi was having a little bit of trouble holding that picnic basket. He wasn't much stronger than Chi but... he figured he should probably try to help him. "Here, let me take that for you." He reached over and took the basket from Chi, a grin splitting his face. They finally took a seat at the top of a hill and watched lovingly as Chi prepared their romantic evening. He was so sweet.
Dai plopped onto the blanket on his face and slowly flipped himself on his back so he could look up at the stars. "Any type of food is good with me!" He smiled propping himself up on an elbow. "That sounds freaking delicious, Chi." he said truthfully looking at his boyfriend. Dai took the Hello Kitty bottle happily and eagerly took a swig. Blinking away the initial horrible taste Dai settled on the sweet after taste that he actually enjoyed, "It's good! Try it!"

Chiaki thought he'd caught a glimpse of Daisuke grinning as he finished setting the picnic up - that was good, he liked seeing him happy. Dai didn't want him to notice, but something had been bothering him the past few days; and while he wanted to know what was wrong, he knew better than to push people in the wrong places. He'd find out if, and when, Daisuke decided he was ready to tell him, he supposed.
Chi laughed happily at Dai's response - why had he been nervous about him tasting his food, again? It was obvious that his boyfriend liked anything and everything. He giggled again at the face Dai had made upon taking a drink from the Hello Kitty bottle; but apparently it had a nice aftertaste, or something, otherwise he wouldn't have told him it was good. Dai was truthful in everything he did, which Chi appreciated immensely. "Okay, okay~" he said, pulling out the food and putting it onto plates before taking a drink from the other bottle - wow, he was right, it did taste good! Setting the first plate in his lap, he handed the other to Daisuke. "Wow, that was good~ Eat up! I hope it's alright! Never made burgers or fries before~ ☆"
Chi took a bite out of his burger before taking another swig of the mystery liquid - his head was starting to feel fuzzy, but in a good way. It was probably the fact that he was with Daisuke; his presence tended to make that sort of thing happen. "It's so pretty out tonight!~" he said, glancing up at the stars before looking back down at Dai.

"Wow, that was good~ Eat up! I hope it's alright! Never made burgers or fries before~ ☆"
He didn't have to tell Dai twice. Swinging his legs around, Dai sat up and took the plate from Chiaki, scooting closer to the boy. Dai's sweatshirt was thin, and the breeze sliced right through it. It was a little chilly tonight and Dai was glad that he had brought another blanket in his back pack. Before he took a bite, the tall lavender haired boy pulled out his red blanket and threw it over the both of them. "You don't have to keep it on, it was just a little cold and..." he was fumbling again, "I'm just gonna eat." he blushed, taking a bite out of his burger and a handful of fries.
His eyes widened and he turned to Chi, "Chi, this is amazing!" He was serious! He had only ever had fast food burgers and fries and these were a million times better.
He took a couple more gulps of the Hello Kitty drink before he looked up at the sky that Chi had called pretty. Technically he called the night pretty, but.... Dai was starting to feel a bit light headed. The stars were starting to blur, "Damn I must need a new prescription on my contacts." he whined, "But you're right! Tonight is extremely pretty, than.ks for taking me. AND for the amazing food... that I'm not done with." Daisuke laughed as he dug back into his meal.

Chiaki flushed a little when Dai praised his cooking, scooting up right next to him underneath their blanket. He was pretty cold, but the other boy was nice and warm. "Thanks, Dai~" he said, beaming, as he resumed wolfing down the rest of his food.
Apparently Dai's vision was blurring too - briefly, he contemplated whether the alcohol in the burgers could be the source of this. The cookbook had been fairly clear in saying that it was only for flavour; this was all probably allergies, or something.
Sometimes, Chi amazed himself with the borderline obscenely fast way he ate - he was a growing boy, he told himself, he had to eat as much as possible if he wanted to grow up big and strong, and nevermind the fact that he was seventeen and over a foot shorter than his boyfriend. Rather loudly, he burped, wiping stray streaks of ketchup off of his face. Damn, those had been good, although the fries had dried out his mouth something fierce. As Chi took a huge swig from the bottle - downing over half of its contents at once - he made a face at the initial nasty taste, but sighed easily when it faded and the sweet part resumed.
"Ngh..." Chi let out a little moan, leaning into Dai's side. His head was swimming; his thoughts were hard to grasp. "Like.. er.. the food was reeeeeeeeeeally good, but... I feel funny, y'know?"

Instead of replying to Chi's thank you, he smiled giddily and pressed his nose to Chi's cheek and nuzzled him. His way of saying, 'No problem! I love to be near you.' without actually having to say it out loud. He still fumbled his words if he tried to make anything romantic.
Dai was starting to get a little worried about this drink. He had just about finished it and his world was already spinning. He looked at Chi with a surprised look, he he drugged him? Shaking the thought from his mind he quickly remembered that Chi had said that he found these with his sister. How old was his sister again? His thoughts were scrambling, but before he went into panic mode he took a breath and decided to have fun.
Daisuke watched as his boyfriend cleaned his face, imagining a braver Daisuke leaning over and saying something flirty then licking the ketchup off his lips or something. He envied his braver self, Chi's lips probably tasted yummy.
Yummy?
What was this drink doing to him?
"Like.. er.. the food was reeeeeeeeeeally good, but... I feel funny, y'know?"
Blinking at the multiple Chiakis an unintentional goofy smile rose on his face, embracing the 'fun' of this feeling rather than the panicky subconscious voice in the back of his head. "Yeah I feel funny too... but... it feels kinnda niiiice..."

Dai looked more than a little worried as he finished his bottle, looking at it with genuine fear in his eyes. What was so wrong with it? It was just a fruit drink, or something, right? Frowning at his own bottle, Chi downed the last of it, wiping the thin sheen of alcohol off of his lips.
Wow, there were a lot of Daisukes out tonight - at least five, give or take. There was no way they were having a simultaneous allergic reaction to something; only one explanation came to mind, and, in retrospect, it had been pretty obvious. They were drunk, most likely from whatever they'd drank out of those bottles. Chiaki was a little worried that Dai would think he'd done this on purpose, but these thoughts passed quickly, swallowed up by the giddy haze engulfing his brain.
"Yeah I feel funny too... but... it feels kinnda niiiice..."
Chiaki nodded, the rest of his upper body bending down with his head. Whoops, he thought, launching into an uncontrollable giggling fit for a moment or so. Blinking, he erected himself, cocking his head to the side at Dai, who had suddenly gone from looking like his normal cute self to... something. Chi wasn't sure what, exactly, but he looked hot.
"Y-ya got something.. er.. on your fashe..." Chiaki muttered, wobbling slightly as he moved his fingers to Dai's face, wiping off an imaginary blotch of ketchup. "Oh wait... whoopsh... Can't wipe off.. um.. beau-" he hiccuped loudly, his eyes blinking out of sync. "Bears...? Beans? No... um. Beautiful!"
Beaming at his ability to wrangle even the toughest of words, Chiaki giggled again, poking Dai in the side. He was aware that he should have probably been resisting how drunk he was, but he was too drunk to be anything more than aware. How pure had the alcohol been? "Yer cute~"

"Y-ya got something.. er.. on your fashe...Oh wait... whoopsh... Can't wipe off.. um.. beau-Bears...? Beans? No... um. Beautiful!"
Dai giggled, red faced from what he assumed was the alcohol. His hair was falling free from his hair clip and he didn't care... he didn't care about anything other than Chi in front of him. He grinned madly and hugged Chi closer. Daisuke took his finger and tucked it under Chi's chin, pulling him to look upward at him. "You're the beeyootiful one Chiiii~"
The alcohol some how unlocked this Casanova side of Daisuke, and he wasn't going to hold it back. Possessed by this new side of him Dai smirked and kissed Chi on the nose, "You should... get sommore of that hewo kiddy stuff. "

"You're the beeyootiful one Chiiii~" Daisuke said, lightly touching the area beneath his chin with a finger. Chi's heart was pounding in his ears, and the pounding only intensified as he leaned in and kissed him on the nose. A loud, overdramatic swoon came from the small, dark-haired boy - when had Dai learned to be so... affectionate? Jesus Christ, he wanted him to do that again. "You should... get sommore of that hewo kiddy stuff. "
Jesus Christ, Dai looked so hot through his hazed, beer-goggled eyes. Chi had to force down the urge to pounce on him right then and there.
"N-now, now.. Dai. Yerr waaaaaaaaay too drink already to drunk more~" Chiaki giggled again, leaning up to kiss him back on the nose; but his balance was too shitty for such a feat, and his head wound up in the purple-haired boy's lap. "Ish really comfy here! You should try it shometime~"

Chiaki was getting cuter by the second, and Dai's seconds seemed to be flying by faster than they normal should be. His eyes were bluer, his hair was shinier, and his face.... his freaking face was so cute that Daisuke just wanted to kiss it all over. The normal sober Daisuke would have kept those thoughts far in the back of his head, but drunk Dai was able to think whatever he wanted, and do whatever he wanted. Well, if Chi was up to it at least.
"N-now, now.. Dai. Yerr waaaaaaaaay too drink already to drunk more~"
When Chi's face hit his lap, Dai squeaked. There were somethings that ran through Dai's head right there that not even drunken Daisuke couldn't stomach that idea right now. He slid his lap out from underneath Chi and cupped the other boy's face in his hands. "Anover day okay?" He grinned, kissing Chi's cheekbone this time. He couldn't help it. Everything about Chi was shining tonight and Dai wasn't afraid to tell him... for once, "Chi did you know you shine brighfer than those stars in the sky?"

Dai's mouse-like squeak launched Chi into another uncontrollable giggling fit, one made all the more awkward due to the fact that his head was still right smack dab in the middle of his crotch. "Aw... I liked it there~" Chi whined, feeling the other boy slide out from underneath him.
"Anover day okay?" Daisuke said, cupping his face in his hands. Chi had been spacing out for a moment, but then Dai kissed him on the cheekbone and sent him crashing back down to earth. Oh, shit. A wave of goosebumps surfaced on the upper layer of his skin, their source most definitely not the frigid breeze currently slicing its way through his blazer.
"Chi did you know you shine brighfer than those stars in the sky?"
This was the point where Chi blushed harder than he'd ever blushed before; he had no idea where any of that had come from, but, God, Dai was sweet. And hot. Really, really hot. Even though he was blurry, Chi felt like his face was even more radiant and attractive than it had ever been before - an incredibly difficult feat in itself. "Daisuke... oh my gawd.. I don't even know what to shay tew that..."
Before Chi could stop himself, he was tackling the other boy to the ground, straddling him with his legs on each side. "Yer so shweet.. I reeeeeeeeeeeally like you, Dai~su~ke~ ♡" he sang, bending down so their faces were mere inches apart. "You're cute.. and funny.. and.. um. you like my cooking.." Yet another fit of giggling ensued. "We're so drunk.. oopsh, shorry about that. I didn't mean to.. um.. that."
Chi lost his train of thought at that point; his drunken little heart was too busy beating out of control, and Dai's lips - his everything - were simply too tantalizing for him to think straight. A little voice in the back of his head told him to back away immediately before he did anything stupid, but he pushed it off to the side. One little kiss couldn't hurt, could it? Tentatively, Chi closed the distance between them and pressed his lips onto Dai's, heart ready to explode against his own chest cavity.

"Daisuke... oh my gawd.. I don't even know what to shay tew that..."
The taller boy laughed, his drunken persona beaming in pride. He could hear his subconscious screaming at him and stammering but drowned it out completely with the thought of seeing Chi's blushing face even more. He wanted to make him blush. You know... switch the roles. At this point inner Daisuke had given up, he knew that he would think back to this moment and not like that he had lost utter control of himself... but he just let it happen without a fight. He should enjoy this momentary freedom.
Giggles bubbled out of Dai as Chi tackled him to the ground, his shorter legs draping over Dai's hips.
"Yer so shweet.. I reeeeeeeeeeeally like you, Dai~su~ke~ ♡ You're cute.. and funny.. and.. um. you like my cooking..We're so drunk.. oopsh, shorry about that. I didn't mean to.. um.. that."
Dai shh'd quietly and pressed his nose onto Chi's, and stared into his matching blue eyes, "I weally like you too Chi~a~ki, and you are all off those things too but I mean I don't weally cook and... well that doesn't weally matter and you help me get over my ithues (issuses >>) wiff my mom and..." He trailed off, when Chiaki's lips touched his.
Paralyzed. Absolutely frozen with... well he didn't know what emotion it was. There was fear, shock, lust, and passion running around his head and he didn't know which one to take hold of. You would think that the answer was easily the better feelings like lust and passion but inner Daisuke had fully awaken for this moment in time and was pushing the horrible emotions to the front of his mind. Thankfully the deafening sound of his heart in his ears brought him back to his drunken euphoria and he was able to focus on the situation at hand.
Chi was kissing him, and he really wanted to kiss him back. So he did and...... well drunk Dai got a little carried away. His hands acted as if they had a mind of their own, running over Chi's thighs, up his back and into his hair. So this is what they mean when they said your body would just know what to do.

For a moment, Chi was a little worried that he’d made an enormous mistake - Dai had simply sat there, unmoving, in the midst of a very one-sided kiss. Come to think of it, it was his own first kiss, and shit, he’d probably just wasted it. He was about to back away and apologize when Dai’s lips came crashing up against his, what felt like his huge, soft hands snaking up the small of his back.
Fuck, Chi thought, breaking the kiss for a moment to release a barely audible moan. When had Daisuke became so touchy-feely in a literal sense? He was definitely one of those lusty drunks - but did that mean that he repressed this sort of thing when he was sober? Whatever the case Chi’s conscience was giving him the very distinct impression that, in a way, he was taking advantage of Dai and that he needed to stop now, right now. This moment of clarity faded quickly when Dai’s hands reached his shoulders, and when their lips met again - this time charged with even more lust than before, if such a thing were possible - his brain was taxed entirely with the task of remembering things like his own name. For the moment, his pubescent libido was at the wheel.
”…and you help me get over my ithues (issuses ») wiff my mom and…”
Suddenly, Dai’s words that hadn’t registered at all came back, floating up from beneath the haze. He had issues with his mom? Was that why he seemed upset lately? Chiaki wanted to say something, needed to say something, but was still mostly preoccupied with his boyfriend’s mouth, body, ect. ”What about your mommy?” he finally managed to say, forcing the words out in between kisses. ”Is that why you’ve sheemed sho… sad? I don’t liiiiiike it when you’re shad, Dai~”

Kissing was absolutely wonderful. It was a whole different experience to Dai, drunk or not. Chi's lips were soft and hesitant just like his, trying to figure out what exactly was the right way to move them. Could it possibly be that Chi had never kissed anyone either? The world was spinning quickly underneath Dai, but he made sure that Chi stayed in focus. Chi was the only thing that he wanted to see clearly in this hazy state.
Something told him that he would be really regret losing his first kiss during a drunken lust, but right now none of that mattered. There was nothing more important than what was happening right now. Running his feverish back down to the small of his boyfriends back, his fingers poked through the bottom of his shirt. The feeling of Chi's heated flesh sent a shock through Daisuke's body, letting him know this was as far as he could possibly go at this time. The tips of his fingers were on fire as they pressed against Chiaki's skin.
”What about your mommy?” Dai heard between kisses, "Is that why you’ve sheemed sho… sad? I don’t liiiiiike it when you’re shad, Dai~”
Dai laughed beneath Chiaki's lips, and pulled back for a second, "I neber told you? Dats soooo like me. I shold pwobably explain. My dad hates me for being a faggot and hasn't said a words to me shince I was a kid." Dai laughed off the pain like his very sob story was a huge joke, "I came heer because I tought it would be easier for her because she was aways fighting with him 'bout me," he hiccuped, "Ting is, I miss my mom and it gettin harder to be away from her. But no worries! You help so much by being my boyfwend. You're my Chiiii, you help me do everything!" he smiled, as if he hadn't told a sad story and went in for another kiss.

Chiaki was in danger of burning up, even though the fingertips lightly brushing the skin of his back were frigid at best. Again, he moaned lightly, unable to do anything but suck face with the boy he was still straddling. Truth be told, he was slightly worried that when the alcohol wore off Dai would be mad at him - if either of them even remembered what they’d done - were doing - in the first place.
”I neber told you? Dats soooo like me. I shold pwobably explain. My dad hates me for being a faggot and hasn’t said a words to me shince I was a kid.” Dai pulled away for a moment, his answer a tad unsettling to the part of Chi that was still sober. There were precious few people he disliked; but people who treated other people badly for being different were on top of the list. Ordinarily, it would have made him fairly angry, but the alcohol made that nigh impossible. Instead, he frowned slightly, listening to the rest of his story. ”I came heer because I tought it would be easier for her because she was aways fighting with him ‘bout me. Ting is, I miss my mom and it gettin harder to be away from her. But no worries! You help so much by being my boyfwend. You’re my Chiiii, you help me do everything!”
Again, Chi blushed fiercely, frown melting away as they kissed for the trillionth time. Dai was so nice, there was nothing wrong with him at all, and he knew that when he’d regained some semblance of clarity he’d be pretty miffed about that situation. ”Same for you~ You’re my Dai, I need you for.. uh.. stuff~” Chi sang, kissing his earlobe after a failed attempt to reach his lips, too drunk and too happy to express anything seriously. ”Your daddy must be pretty silly, ‘cuz you’re perfect just the way you are~ ♪ I’m shure your mommy thinks so too~”
