Characters: Harumi :3 Time: ..after the zoo so like 5? Location: DA BEACH
From putting their fingers into the monkey cage, to just being a disturbance to the peace, to even trying to feed the lions themselves, Haru and Kurumi figured out how to get kicked out of a zoo. After wandering for a bit they found themselves walking side by side on the beach.
The wind blew her long hair behind her, and it lifted her dress a little but she didn't bother to fix it. If you couldn't see her underwear, she didn't care. Kurumi held her boots by her fingers, he socks stuffed into them as she wriggled her toes in the sand, "That was fun, right Haru?" She smiled, "I mean, before the stupid police guys told us we couldn't touch the penguins, and made us get out." The golden sun was beginning to set on the calm beach and Kurumi was getting sad. She didn't want this date to end. If you could even call it a date.
Haru was cute and funny, and Kurumi actually thought that she could like him. She stared at him through her peripherals, and couldn't hold back the blush. He was so freaking good looking, how did Kurumi get so lucky today? But she was almost sure that Haru didn't feel the same way about her. Sure he'd been spewing all of this about her before, but... She thought it was all a ruse. It was always a ruse.

Standing a few feet behind Kurumi, just staring at the way the evening sun glinted off the water and shone through her hair, Haru was hypnotized. Of course, he'd done this a lot before, but this was the first time he had been so struck by another human being. The flashy streetlights could keep him for a few minutes, but this girl, Kurumi, he could just sit and look at her until he starved to death.
"That was fun, right Haru?" She said, snapping him back to reality. He suddenly looked at his feet. "I mean, before the stupid police guys told us we couldn't touch the penguins, and made us get out."
He looked away quickly, his face turning red. "But we didn't get to see the otters." he mumbled, sticking out his bottom lip. He slowly turned his head back to face her, just to see if she was still looking at him, and when their eyes met, he turned away again.
Gathering what little courage an idiot has, he took a step forward and grabbed her hair. "Hey Kurumi!" he said, smiling widely. "Your hair reminds me of the stained-glass windows at the church I spent a lot of time at when I was little. It makes me happy, it reminds me of back then." he explained, curling a strand of her bangs around his fingers. "You're really pretty, Kurumi." he said happily, letting go of her hair. "But not as pretty as my mom, she's the most beautiful person ever. You should meet her someday!"

"But we didn't get to see the otters." Haru mumbled. His pouting lip was so adorable, Kurumi thought her heart might just explode. Did he understand how cute he was? Probably not.
"We'll see them next time okay?" She smiled, walking closer to the boy. The thought of a next time made her smile, this time she would make sure they wouldn't get kicked out. Kurumi giggled, when her hair was tugged, "Hey Kurumi! Your hair reminds me of the stained-glass windows at the church I spent a lot of time at when I was little. It makes me happy, it reminds me of back then."
"Really?" She beamed, perking up. A strong gust of wind blew, whipping her hair against her face. "Ouch." she hissed, pushing her hair out of her face, and hold down her dress. A dress was clearly not the right choice today.
"You're really pretty, Kurumi, but not as pretty as my mom, she's the most beautiful person ever. You should meet her someday!"
She could honestly melt right there. What was cuter than a boy who loved his mother? Nothing. "I would love to meet her, she sounds wonderful." Kurumi took a seat in the sand, and took Haru's hand and tugged on it. "Sit with me?" She asked, pulling her hair away from her face again, and fixing her beanie.
