Character(s): Naoki Kohaku & Howl Jenkins Time: lunch time i guess?? Location: library DUh Note(s): NAOKI HATES ME I CAN'T DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT
"Crafting... crafting..."
Naoki was searching the library's bookshelves and he had hit rock bottom. There was just no way he can magically find crafting books if he walked by the shelves. Well, he can if he was going to stay there for a while, but he wasn't up for that.
He sat down and looked at a bottom shelf. Since he saw a book for clay, he just concluded that there would be a book on sewing nearby. However, his logic was completely wrong and he sighed. He got up and heard his legs clicking into place as he did. Not only that, but he was getting kind of hungry since he was using his lunch time to look for books.
"I need to learn how to embroider properly... I don't think my method works for her style..." he muttered under his breath. Naoki was too shy to even think about walking up to the librarian and asking where the books are located.
So, instead of being a normal person and walking up to the librarian, he kept eyeing the blonde librarian. That's what you do when you want someone's attention, right? Oh no... What if he thinks I'm checking him out?! D-Do I just go to him or...? What do I do?!?! He felt as if he was internally sweating as he was being a coward.

As usual, the daily dose of the agitating lunch bell rang obnoxiously across through the silent study hall; releasing the teenagers from their imprisonment. Most of the students would be rushing out, grabbing their book bags, pushing and shoving, laughing and giggling, flirting and glaring, you name it. This was the loudest point of Howl’s day at this school – lunch time. As the students walked out, the girls would all wave over, smile, and giggle in the direction of the blonde, while making their way through the doors; for the boys, they just smile nervously and walk out in a rush.
“Have a nice day ladies & gentlemen. Enjoy your lunch!” He would wave off with his casual smile. As everyone else was exiting the area, there were a few that would enter through to get in some ‘extra studying’. Without much of a care in the world, Howl pulled out his bento box; on the menu for today was fried rice with chicken and all sorts of vegetables. Yes, he knew that this was a no-food or drinks zone, but he was the librarian. It was his territory, and as long as he kept the books away from him to keep everything in tip-top shape, he was fine.
Before he could reach out for his utensils, he took a quick scan around the library and – “whattaya know …” There he was, the fearful child of the day. Kids staring at him all the time instead of coming up - That was the norm around this place. “I don’t understand, do I look like I’m going to bite your head off? And he’s a boy too.” The blonde took in a deep breath, and exhaled it slowly. At the same time, he rose up gradually from his seat and strolled on over with his arms crossed over his chest.
The mere fact that the kid was slouching over on a section of arts and crafts already alerted Howl in many ways. What mattered, he’s a boy. Maybe he’s a little feminine, maybe he just grew up with his mom and not his dad. Whatever the case was, his job was to help students and staff in the library to find their needs. With another exhale, Howl leaned over against the shelf, facing towards the brunette diagonally; eyeing him down with his pale sapphire hues.
“Alright, sir. What’re you looking for, how may I help you, and … Stand up kid. What’re you, tired?”
