Characters: Sax Time: After Class Location: right now it's in the hallway, but it'll be in the park in a post.
It's been days since he had kissed in the dorm and things couldn't have been better. There was no more aching when he saw Max, just this overwhelming sense of joy. Who would have thought a guy would be the person to make him feel this way? Sora certainly didn't, but shit happens, and he was glad it did. Max and him had mutual feelings, but nothing was settled. They kissed and hugged and acted like a couple but nothing was set in stone.
Sora wasn't the type to hold back. He liked Max, and he wanted to make it official. This wasn't a normal like. He had liked girls before, but not like this, this with Max was deeper and different. He liked him so much that he could probably use the 'L' word soon, not that he would. That word left a foul taste in his mouth, "I love my little man." Sora shook away the memory violently. Love, he had only one thing he loved, his sister Emi and the thought of loving someone else made him nervous.
That's what he was going today. Make it official. Max Kimori was going to officially be his boyfriend. That is... If he wanted to be.
Thankfully his dance lesson ended earlier than usual, so he had time to clean up before meeting Max at his class. Sora quickly washed off and quickly changed back into his uniform, purposely leaving his shirt untucked and his bow tie untied. Damn he hated these stupid uniforms. He lazily slung his dance bag over his shoulder and set off toward Max's classroom.
The hallways were slowly emptying by the time Sora had arrived. Seas of students flowed into the small corridor leaving Sora bobbing and weaving though the crowd. Sapphire eyes carefully narrowed in on the teenagers looking for his brunette, but he wasn't there. The blonde kept walking and he reached Max's calssroom, the only door in the hallway that was still closed. "Of course." Sora smiled, leaning his back against the wall next to the door, hands stuffed into his pockets.

Max was impatient, and growing more so with every passing second that he was stuffed into the classroom that he didn't want to be in. The boy was tapping his pen against his desk out of boredom, someone turned to 'shh' him. Rolling his eyes at them, Max wedged his hand under his chin, propping his head up to keep from falling asleep.
Anywhere but here, please. Max thought, sighing and beginning to tap his pen again.
That was a lie. He wouldn't prefer anywhere to that stuffy classroom that smelled like something akin to dirty socks and too much perfume. Max wanted to be with Sora, wherever that was at the moment.
A smile took the place of Max's frown as he thought about the boy. Sora. Who liked Max just as much as Max liked him. Max couldn't express in words how amazing that feeling was. When Sora touched him -- his fingers just barely brushing Max's skin -- goosebumps erupted all over him. That might be 'love,' stupid.
Now he was blushing.
Since the night Max had finally confessed to Sora, things had been perfect -- they kissed each other all the time, hugged with something more than just friendship, Sora called him 'Maxxie' with more affection than the brunette would have ever thought possible, held hands, everything Max had wanted to do with Sora -- aside from one small detail.
There was no talk of what they actually were to each other. It made Max a little uneasy to think about. He knew that Sora didn't like other boys -- just me -- but Max had no idea if Sora was okay with actually becoming Max's boyfriend. Things had been going so smoothly, that Max had been too nervous to bring it up.
Heaving another sigh, Max looked at the clock, watching as the second hand spun past the numbers one through nine, looking away on ten to stuff his notebook into his backpack. The brunette wanted to be the first one out, to go find Sora and kiss him again.
That wish was granted shortly after it had been made when his teacher dismissed them ten seconds early, the bell ringing just as Max's hand gripped the doorknob. His search for the blonde boy didn't take long, Sora was standing outside of Max's classroom, hands deep in his pockets and back against the wall looking perfectly put together despite himself.
Grinning, Max quickly made his way to the boy, pushing himself upwards slightly to place a tiny, barely-there kiss on Sora's cheek. His bruises were fading fast, but Max knew full well that the pain could still be there.
"Hi," Max said, a simple greeting to the boy that meant the entire universe to him. "What'd you want to ask me?" Max's hand moved to Sora's side without his doing, the blonde's gravitational pull acting on Max -- who had developed a habit of tugging at Sora's sleeves when they stood close together. The younger boy knew that anyone else would have found that annoying, but Sora didn't seem to mind in the slightest.

The door to the classroom opened next to him and Sora jumped, his stomach lurching with eagerness. He hurriedly relaxed himself before anyone came out of the doorway. Sora tried his best to keep his cool – which was harder than he would have hoped – as the familiar brunette came into view. Max. Coolly, Sora pushed himself off of the wall and gratefully took Max’s gentle kiss on his cheek. A shiver ran down his spine, Max was always considerate of his injuries. A fluttering stirred in his stomach and he smiled warmly.
"Hi, What'd you want to ask me?" The boy asked, his hand moving over the blonde’s side. Sora loved the way that Max tugged and pulled at him. It was adorable and it made his stomach flip.
Bringing his hand up to Max’s hair he mussed it, before he placed a kiss on the boy’s forehead. “Hey Maxxie.” He greeted, a little late before he wrapped and arm around him and walking down the hallway. Eyes moved toward them, most confused, as they did so but Sora brushed it off. Sora? The school’s ex-slut, with a guy around his arm? Sora could only imagine the stupid gossip that would come out of it.
“Hold on, let’s get out of here before I ask.” Sora grinned, guiding Max out of the hallway.
The park wasn’t far away. It was right in town and he knew a really nice spot that he wanted to bring Max to. Sora couldn’t have asked for a better day too, it was bright and sunny -- unlike most October days -- and the wind was cold but warm enough not to need a jacket. Sora took a deep breath, and raised his arms up, “Such a pretty day!” He admired, doing a little spin before looking back at Max, “Don’t ya’ think so, Maxxie?” Sora grinned nudging the other boy and resting his head on Max’s shoulder.
Sora loved being able to hang around Max like this. The constant stuttering of his heart, the shivering down his spine, the simply delight of finally being around someone that truly made him happy was beyond anything Sora had ever imagined for himself. Max needed him, and as long as he needed him he wouldn’t leave him. No. Max would never leave him.

The blonde smiled down at Max, leaning to press his lips to Max's forehead. His heart was hammering loudly in his chest already -- what was Max supposed to do if only a tiny peck like that caused such a reaction? He tried hard to not imagine what would happen if Sora had kissed him like they had back in their dorm right then, images of his heart beating out of his chest like in those old cartoons flooded toward him. The younger boy's smile only grew as Sora threw his arm around him, turning them around to face the direction opposite of Max's classroom.
Yep. This was his Sora, the one he had managed to miss while they were apart for only six or so hours that day.
“Hey Maxxie.”
Averting his gaze to the ground, Max smothered another grin behind folded lips, moving himself closer to Sora's side as they began to walk down the hallway. It was the easiest thing in the world for Max -- being next to Sora -- and he wouldn't trade it for anything. Being close enough to feel his... -- right, there wasn't a word for them -- roommate's warmth radiating off of him was one of the best feelings imaginable.
Sora spoke again. “Hold on, let’s get out of here before I ask.” Max lifted his head to look at the blonde again, finding him grinning as well.
While they walked, Max was beginning to notice the gawking and glances being thrown their way. The boy that had 'shh'-ed Max in class gave him an awkward eyebrow raise but Max ignored them all. Max had never really cared what strangers believed about him, but if he got a look like that from someone like Asuka, he would be a tad concerned. They were whispering behind the two boys as they exited the building, but Max only chuckled, lacing his fingers together with the ones Sora had rested on his shoulder.
The blonde continued to maneuver them off campus and through the city -- Max paid no mind to the fact that they were actually off campus only so many days after their incident at the mall. He didn't care, not with Sora's arm around him and the a grin on the older boy's face. The sun was out, a rarity for mid-October, illuminating the edges of the few grey clouds hanging in the sky.
Sora pulled his arm from around Max's shoulders, walking a few steps a head of him. “Such a pretty day! Don’t ya’ think so, Maxxie?” The blonde grinned at him again, knocking their arms together playfully and laying his head on Max's shoulder.
"Yes, it's beautiful out, Sora." Max told him, smiling a wide, carefree and very 'Sora-approved' smile. Max hadn't been so happy in a long time. He had almost forgotten what it was like to constantly be grinning instead of scowling. Sora brought out everything that could be considered good about Max, and he loved that. I may just love him, but it's hard to decipher.
Laughing at the blond boy, Max moved quickly to stand in front of Sora, reaching up with both hands to cup his cheeks. The brunette kissed him quickly, pulling back to smile at him, and then pressing his lips to Sora's again, nipping at the other boy's bottom lip.
He stepped away after a moment, hands dropping back to his sides and a small, evil smile wiggling on to Max's lips. They'd been apart all day -- something that Max wasn't quite used to hating yet -- and he couldn't keep himself from kissing Sora any longer. He had resisted jumping on him in the hallway and while they had been walking to the park, but Max couldn't continue to hold back like he had been.
Though he'd wanted to bring up again what Sora had wanted to ask him earlier, Max was content with what was happening in that moment. He stepped forward again, standing only a few inches from Sora, and wound his arms carefully around the blonde's body, avoiding his bruised and fractured ribs as best as he could.
Max just wanted to be close to him that afternoon, that was all.

"Yes, it's beautiful out, Sora." Max smiled, a smile that Sora loved to see. It didn't hold any other emotion other than happiness, something that Sora knew only he could bring out. Only I can make Maxxie smile like that -- he's bragging rights.
Max laughed; a terribly cute sound that the blonde could listen to all of the time. Max's shoulder disappeared from beneath his head and he pouted, looking to the other boy for a reason for his absence.
The reason appeared in front of him shortly, cupping his cheeks and moving toward his lips. Okay. Sora blinked, kissing Max back when they pressed against his. The spontaneous kiss had Sora flipping and twisting all over, every organ effected.
It had been way too long since he had kissed the brunette. The whole school day he had been itching to see him, double taking at every brunette in the hallway, only to be disappointed when it was someone else.
As if the kiss wasn't enough to his poor heart, as Max pulled away from him -- a bit too soon for his liking -- he took his bottom lip with him. Sora had to bite at the inside of his cheeks to keep himself from moaning, his heart pounding against his chest. The sound traveled into his ears, and he took a clumsy step backward, blinking in surprise at Max.
Sora had to admit, the evil smile was very attractive on Max, but after a whole day of not being near him after a whole weekend of snuggling and cuddling, Sora did not want to be teased. Well, that wasn't entirely true. The blonde found it wildly tantalizing to be teased, but he'd rather be the one teasing.
The older boy growled playfully, hooking a finger under Max's bow tie, and pulling him closer, his fingers brushed against Max's chin in the process. "Lip biting huh?" He breathed, a smirk working it's way up on his cheeks. Sora stole a kiss from the smaller brunette, this one lasting longer. He parted Max's lips against his own teasingly before pulling away, his own evil grin splitting his face.
Sora laughed darkly and bent down, tossing Max over his shoulder like a rag doll. He held on to Max's legs, surprised of how light he was. "Come on, Maxxie," he laughed again, continuing toward the destination. His feet crunched the leaves as he walked over to the tree that he had been looking for. This was the only tree that still had all of it's leaves. It burned with the colors of autumn, but it wasn't ready to let go and become winter, no this tree was a fighter. Sora thought it was beautiful.
Gently Sora placed down Max, back against the tree. Throwing a leg over the younger boy, Sora straddled him without actually sitting on him. "Okay, now to serious business," Sora mocked a serious face, "I have a question."

Sora stepped away from Max, blinking down at the smiling boy. The blonde seemed surprised that Max could pull something off like that. Truthfully, Max was surprised that he could do something like that. He had never really understood how to flirt or tease anyone -- it never came to him, naturally or otherwise -- but, from the look on Sora's face, Max assumed he was doing something right.
"Lip biting huh?" The blonde asked, his voice breathy and sending a shiver through Max. It was a horrible and wonderful feeling all in one -- horrible because Max couldn't just tackle his roommate in public despite how much he wanted to and wonderful because... well, because it was Sora, standing close and smirking at him with an unreadable glint in his eyes.
The blonde moved toward him, the glint in Sora's eyes taking a turn and causing Max's breath to catch in his throat. Their lips met, Sora's fitting against his so effortlessly, like Sora was the only person made for Max to kiss. He moved Max's lips apart, and Max waited, trying his best not to jump at Sora.
But Sora did nothing, he merely pulled back and borrowed Max's evil grin from earlier. Max whined softly, the heat that had hit him so suddenly moving away rapidly as Sora stepped back. He tried to be angry, to pout, but looking at the blonde in front of him -- the one that was smiling at him, looking happy again after their many days of terrible confusion -- Max couldn't manage it.
Instead, Max quietly called Sora an ass and left it at that.
Though, Sora had other plans, laughing maniacally before springing forward and throwing Max over his shoulder. The brunette shouted in mock-protest, laughing and poking at the small of Sora's back as he walked, carrying him.
"Come on, Maxxie," the blonde said, chuckling again.
From where Max sat, he could only see the ground and Sora's legs, moving quickly across the grass and stepping on fallen leaves. "As if I could not come with you right now!" He poked the boy's back again.
Moments later, Max was placed right side up once more, sitting on the ground with his back against a tree trunk. As Sora moved to set himself on top of Max, the brunette looked up, wondering why Sora would bring him to a tree in the middle of the park. It's leaves were still there, a colossal mixture of reds, browns, oranges and more than one patch of green. Max smiled.
"Okay, now to serious business," Sora tried to look just as serious as his statement was trying to be, but from the corner of his eyes, Max could see him trying to fight a smile of his own. "I have a question."
Max 'hmm'-ed, the noise sending a vibration through him, and dropped his gaze back to Sora's. He slid his hands up the blonde's legs -- from his knees to his hips --, stopping when he reached the hem of Sora's shirt. Max tugged at it again, trying to think of a way for the two of them to be closer than they already were. And what did 'serious business' mean, anyway? At a time like this. "And I might have an answer. Shoot."

The young brunette's mock shout only deepened the grin etched into Sora's face. He couldn't help it, it was way too much fun teasing him. Sora hiked Max up on his shoulder, as the younger boy poked his lower back. "As if I could not come with you right now!"
Sora threw his head back and laughed again. "What? I can't hear you!" He yelled, purposely bouncing the teen.
Max's hands traveled up Sora's legs, his fingers sending jolts of electricity up from his ankles to right under his belt. Sora closed his eyes and arched his hips into the hands -- a natural reflex -- and bit down hard on his lip. What was Max trying to do to him? Whatever it is, do it again the animalistic side of Sora growled in his head, imagining how great it would feel to pounce of Max right there -- No. He had to ask him.
"And I might have an answer. Shoot." Max said, completely oblivious of what he was doing to the dancer.
Sora couldn't think straight. All of his attention was focused on Max's hands and how he wished they wouldn't stop. Fuck fuck fuck. he thought, as the familiar tight feeling took over his body. Christ, he really wanted to let his other side take over. He opened his eyes to meet with Max's unknowing ones. Did Max not understand what he was doing?
The blonde made an audible groan this time, as Max tugged on the tails of his shirt. It took all of his strength to take Max's hands from his sides and held them. He allowed himself to fall forward, and he pressed his palms into Max's gently as the rested on the bark behind Max's skull.
Inches away from the younger boys face Sora tried to pull together his thoughts, "Maxxie, are you my boyfriend?" Sora sighed his head still fuzzy, "I mean, do you want to be?"

The brunette's hands rested right below Sora's waist, not moving an inch apart from his right thumb, moving slowly -- unconsciously -- back and forth. Max watched in awe as Sora moved against him, his eyes closed and bottom lip between his teeth. He's unbelievably hot.
Max blushed a bit, his mind working against him all of the sudden as he looked at Sora. It was true, though, Sora was ridiculously attractive in a coincidental, jealousy-inducing kind of way. They had lived together for almost a month and a half now -- excluding Sora's time spent sleeping elsewhere -- and even after this... whatever they were, had begun, Max had continued to put minimal effort in to his appearance if not none whatsoever. Sora always looked absolutely perfect. Max usually looked like he had just rolled out of bed.
But that wasn't the point.
Sora was sitting on top of him, squirming and moving himself closer to Max. The brunette's eyes widened, glad that Sora had his eyes closed for the time being. Max didn't know if there was a word to describe the warm, stirring feeling that was taking over his entire body, and it didn't seem like his brain was going to begin to function and help him out any time soon. He just looked at Sora, eyes glazed over and trying his very best to not throw himself at him.
Never before had Max wanted to kiss the other boy so badly. He held back, though. Sora had claimed his question was serious, but Max couldn't see anything serious about this moment other than his serious need to bring Sora closer to him.
That's when Sora groaned. The sound caused Max's entire body to go rigid, his breathing uneven and shaky. He wanted to reach for Sora, but his body wasn't cooperating, everything was focused lower. Much lower than Max's arms.
The blonde opened his eyes, looking directly at Max, who only blushed harder. He leaned his head back against the tree trunk, teeth gnawing at the inside of his lip. He tried to sit still, but it was becoming painful.
Sora tugged Max's hands off of his legs, clasping them in his and leaning forward, pressing their hands into the tree trunk next to Max's head. He's so close. Their noses were only about an inch away from each other, but Max waited. He wanted to hear what Sora had to ask him, even if the blonde was taking an excruciatingly long time to do so.
"Maxxie, are you my boyfriend?" he sighed, adding, "I mean, do you want to be?"
The younger boy's heart stuttered for a second, kick-starting to beat loudly and nearly out of his chest. Max's cheeks remained flushed, the look in his eyes flashing from pure longing to barely-veiled excitement. Of course, of course, of course!
Grinning, Max pushed himself forward, trapping Sora's mouth against his. He didn't want to wait any longer, he couldn't wait any longer or he was going to explode. The brunette moved back just enough to be able to speak, whispering, "Of course, Sora. Of course I want to be your boyfriend," then locked his lips with the blonde's once more.

It felt like he had asked Max to be his boyfriend an eternity ago. Granted in actuality it had only been a few milliseconds, but ever millisecond felt like a thousand years to the blonde, looking into the eyes of the boy that he wanted to make his -- officially.
Sora was starting to get nervous. A second ago he was completely sure that Max wanted to be his boyfriend. The way the brunette pawed at him... It was obvious. But that was before the pause. To anyone else, Max's answer would have been obvious. His eyes screamed yes but Sora wasn't picking up on that obvious social cue. Instead he was starting to get queasy. For the love of God, say yes.
And again, Max answered his prayers, pressing his lips to his. He smiled under the boy's lips, all of his worries disappearing knowing the answer had to be yes. But Sora loved hearing, just like when Max had first told him he liked him. The older boy held back his whine as Max back away from his lips.
"Of course, Sora. Of course I want to be your boyfriend." the boy answered, finally before pressing against his lips once more.
His mischievous grin quickly changed into a huge smile that stretched from ear to ear. His pulse climbed, thumping rhythmically with the sound of his beating heart. Max Kimori was his boyfriend. Officially. Needing to put a label on a relationship was probably ridiculous to some people, but Sora liked to know what he could say was 'his' and what wasn't 'his'. Yeah yeah, you can't own people, but he wanted to make sure that everyone knew, Max was his boyfriend, and if you put a hand on him -- in anyway -- he will hurt you.
Pulling himself away from Max he leaned his forehead onto Max's shoulder, kissing him lightly on the skin exposed near his collarbone -- marking his territory as he called it -- and meeting eyes with Max again, "So it's official. I'm your boyfriend, and you're mine." That felt good to say. You're mine. Sora could get used to that.

When Max pulled away, Sora was grinning. The brunette smiled, too, wondering when he had been given the power to make someone else look that happy with such a small action, confession, or a tiny peck on the the other boy's lips. He loved it, the look on Sora's face, he loved it more than he could say.
Max had spent close to two weeks watching Sora sulk around their room, put on false smiles, pretend that he wasn't in a horrible mood and, when he had believed that Max wasn't looking, Sora would even frown a bit. But Max wasn't going to let that happen any more. The brunette wasn't going to let his boyfriend frown if he could help it.
Sora leaned down, his forehead resting on Max's shoulder, and placed a small kiss on Max's collarbone. The brunette's eyes fluttered closed, his head tilting back again. Sora, his boyfriend -- my boyfriend -- was the one causing Max's thoughts to swirl, his heartbeat to pick up drastically, the quick intake of breath and slow exhale. He had wanted that for so long that it seemed almost unreal now.
The boy took a moment to recover, his gaze focusing back on Sora as he looked up at Max. "So it's official. I'm your boyfriend, and you're mine."
Max made a strangled groan, trying to pass it off as another 'hmm.' He moved their hands to Max's side again, letting go of Sora's fingers almost reluctantly. The younger boy smiled a tiny, lopsided smile as he moved to hold on to Sora's hips. Yes, they were in public, and yes, Max should have felt some kind of shame, but all he could feel was Sora.
"Yep. I'm all yours," Max said, head tilted and lips parted to steal another kiss from Sora, the tips of his fingers moving just barely under the hem of the blonde's shirt, his skin meeting Sora's and goosebumps erupting. He wanted to say it again, to hear Sora say 'you're mine' a few hundred times. Max loved it, he really, really did.
END.
(I don't know if you saw my post in the chatbox last night, but I said I'd post again and end it. It's almost six in the morning... Max and I are tired ksdjfhsdkafhj)[/size]
