Character(s): Anyone who cares...?? Time: Morning Location: Computer Lab
Hiromi walked into the empty Computer Lab, it was only morning after all, she wouldn't be bothered by anyone (for what, she didn't know) who...apparently on the large signs posted on the walls across the lab will check their blogs? What's that? Okay, well she knew what it was, but she didn't understand one, because she never did have her own blog. The computers looked new and expensive, and the chairs that accompanied each space on the wide built-in desks to the walls even looked regal and comfortable. She was eager to check out the computers, yet at the same time utterly terrified. What would happen if she stayed on these computers? She would probably go on a blog and break school rules and ah.. She was thinking too much. She straightened her posture and tugged down at her shirt once more. She looked around curiously and walked around the lab, deciding which computer to choose. They all looked the same, but she couldn't help but choose something for her first time using a computer. She chose a computer right in the middle of the room, in the middle row, the middle computer. Finally, she sat down and found her computer. Now the question is... how was she supposed to use one of these?

Kettaro waltz around the school, lost like a puppy. His hues travelled around the school hallways, hoping no one would stop and ask if he's late or lost. He just wanted to roam and explore for a few days. He threw his long arms into the air and stretched, taking in the new atmosphere. A yawn was thrown out during his stretch, but he didn't bother to cover his mouth. "So bored... Should I head to class...? Guess I'll pick a class-- Whoa!" He exclaimed as he saw a sign that read "COMPUTER ROOM".
He had passed the computer room, but traced back a few steps. The blonde smashed his face against the door window and turned the knob. "There's tons of computers in here! And no teachers? Yes---!" He ran towards the end row, but paused in his steps as he saw a figure.
"Well, well! What do we-- Sweet heavens. A female!" He decided to sit next to her in the fancy chairs and scoot a little closer for the comfort of speaking.
He stared at the female for a while before speaking. ".. Hey! Are you skipping~? What were you doing here, hn?" He grinned towards the other in the room while resting his cheek on his left hand.

As she stared at the computer, she looked back up at the clock...five minutes have passed by. Then she typed something random on the keyboard and clicked the mouse a few times. Nothing happened.
Irritated by her failure, it didn't make it any better that there was indeed a male in the computer lab, and she was stuck with him in the lab with no teacher or counselour whatsoever.
Putting on her acting front, she smiled kindly and acted a little oblivious to his obvious interest in her. Why else would he have scooted so close? But she knows what tricks he's playing and won't give in.
"I-I uh..." She found words harder to speak with, as it was harder to even look at the boy in the face. "...want to learn how to use a computer...!" That was true, she kept going. "I...was raised by my mother, and we could never afford a computer, so I never had the chance of using one." She stared at the blank computer screen and frowned. It wouldn't turn on. The boy possibly knew how to turn it on... She growled inwardly and refused to take any help from him. But then she realized she would get nowhere.
She sighed a little and looked back at the computer. Blushing she finally decided to ask for his help.
"...would you know how to turn this on?" She asked quietly. She closed her eyes, she felt so stupid, she's barely used a computer. I mean, in this day and age, it's hard to even avoid one, but she's certainly never used it by herself.

The female's face seemed quite distant from Kettaro's when he heard a mutter, "I-I uh...want to learn how to use a computer...!" She continued with, "I...was raised by my mother, and we could never afford a computer, so I never had the chance of using one," and all the blonde did was watch her stare at the blank computer screen.
He initiated a burst of laughter and wiped the tear that was forming from his right eye. He settled down and had the biggest smile on his face. "Hey... I don't mind if you've had a rough past. You're quite the honest girl about everything though. I like that."
He didn't stop smiling even if she wasn't smiling back. However, it seemed as if she was struggling with herself. All of the sudden, she was asking for his help. Of course, Kettaro didn't refuse. Then, he saw the hesitant girl and he blushed slightly. He thought, "Why is she so cute? I thought the girls at this school would be snobby and scary..."
Kettaro didn't say anything and he just nodded with a smirk. "Here, I'll show you step by step so you won't forget. I'll be gentle, don't worry."
He lightly grabbed her small hand and took a finger. He used her finger to power the quiet system, which turned into a roaring one. "Ahah! There's a first to everything, hn? Now we wait for things to load up."

At his sudden burst of laughter, she couldn't help but feel completely mortified and flushed, scowling at him. "H-Hey! I-It's not funny!" She snapped. She crossed her arms and stuck her tongue out at him, waiting for him to calm down.
Well, as she didn't have the hardest life, she did have a fairly average rough past. And it all turned to glamour as she suddenly became an actress, getting money left and right. She left it to her accountants and her agent. Because she wasn't used to so much money, she still used minimum amount of funds and didn't buy materialistic objects.
"You're quite the honest girl about everything though. I like that." "Really?" Her eyes brightened at that. So maybe if she was more honest, people would like her? She was a bit surprised, but smiled, that was the first time a guy said anything nice to her, if that was considered something nice. And one of the rare times she actually felt like she had made another friend.
Then he grabbed her hand. He. Grabbed. Her hand. They made physical contact. "O-Okay..." She blushed a litle and bit her lip, telling herself to bear this, because she was learning something. As he guided her to the power button, she looked to Kettaro and pointed at it with her free finger. "So this turns it o--" Then they pressed it and it made a roaring sound. She flinched and quickly turned to the computer again, unconsciously grabbing Kettaro's hand.
"Ahah! There's a first to everything, hn? Now we wait for things to load up."
She nodded, unaware of her hand still gripping his. "I never got your name..." She said and smiled a bit after. "I'm Hiromi, by the way."

"H-Hey! I-It's not funny!" She snapped. She crossed her arms and stuck her tongue out at him, waiting for him to calm down.
Kettaro had stopped his roar of laughter, but he couldn't resist having such a big smile. "Haha! Sorry, sorry. It's just that you're... how do I say this so you won't get creeped out...? You're... cute."
With that said, the blonde's face felt flushed with pink. He looked away for a bit, but right back at her. Having connecting his eyes with her sincere eyes, he stopped smiling for a second to acknowledge and notice her small physical details--from her posture to face. Kettaro concluded that she had a cute face and a very feminine posture. He guessed her style of clothing must have been well, based on her face. He could be wrong though.
After admitting that he liked the fact that she was honest, the female's eyes seemed to have brightened up and came with a smile. The blonde had to look away for a second because the smile made her look even cuter. "Your smile-- It's a charm!"
Kettaro felt a warm hand placed onto his own after the machine was on. Perhaps the other female was unconsciously grabbing his hand. He tried his best not to laugh at her, but his goofy expression said it all.
"I never got your name..." She said. "I'm Hiromi, by the way."
The female did not seem hesitant on asking for Kettaro's name. He was relieved because he had thought she was scared or weirded out by him. He paused for a moment to memorize her name. "Hiromi." He said it once before anything.
"It's nice to meet you, Hiromi! I'm Kettaro! Kettaro Sawashiro of the second year. Please take good care of me." And with that, he continued to hold the fragile hand without noticing. He only focused on greeting her properly.

As he taunted her with laughter, she couldn't help but like it in a way. She never had this kind of relationship with someone before. And all his smiles warmed her heart.
"Haha! Sorry, sorry. It's just that you're... how do I say this so you won't get creeped out...? You're... cute."
A light pink hue spread across her face again. "Really?" She asked quietly a little shy. She looked down, but couldn't help but feel a little played with, and just stared back at him, until she met with his eyes. He was serious... wasn't he? Then she hoped he would take her seriously, in return. "You're not creeping me out at all." She said and shook her head a little. She told herself she wouldn't fall for his tricks but she kept falling deeper and deeper into his charms and good loo-- UGH! She was doing it again! She couldn't help it. She was socially deprived, and she barely communicated with any guy. She in turn started to realize she really liked his blonde hair, maybe it was because it was the opposite of her hair color? (Almost?) And for some reason she wanted to pet it, it looked really soft... like his face, he looked masculine and mature, but at the same time kind and gentle. And then she stared down to his lips. She wanted to-- OH GOD WHAT WAS I THINKING?!? She mentally slapped herself and blushed at her (well she thinks it is) perverted thoughts.
"Your smile-- It's a charm!" Was this real? This wasn't a joke right? A guy that was complimenting her and not making fun of her? She was just soaking it in and starting to like him more and more. Her introvertedness and depression easily let her to like (/fall in love idk) with a guy like him.
"It's nice to meet you, Hiromi! I'm Kettaro! Kettaro Sawashiro of the second year. Please take good care of me."
She smiled shyly. "Kettaro...i-it's a nice name." She said. "And uh..." Here's where she lacked/forgot most of her Japanese customs/speech. She was trying her hardest, but she wasn't Japanese, only her father was, who was dead long before she was born. Being brought up in China didn't help either with her Japanese. Being left with her Chinese mother in Japan for eight years...she didn't learn much. And she was in America for the past six months, she easily forgot what she did learn. "I will..." She hoped she said that right, she totally forgot what to say when someone said 'Please take care of me'. "Second year for me too. I'm majoring in Acting...and you?" She forgot to add.
She still didn't notice they were still holding hands either, but felt the warmth and comfort spread through her body. She would find out in a few minutes.
Right now, she was worrying about the fact that Kettaro might not even like her anymore. I mean, it was natural for Japanese people to hate Chinese, right? Sure she was both, but she remembered all the horror stories her friends talked to her about, that were less weird sounding. And then she remembered hearing the gossip from her friends' moms, which was definitely not rated E for everyone.
She had to come up with an excuse, quick! But how could she...She couldn't just lie so easily to Kettaro...he would surely hate her afterwards. And he just said he liked her honesty! So should she just risk saying she's Chinese and the possibility he'll bully her to no end? She frowned at the thought. If there was one thing she hated, it was being bullied and then followed was death. It took away her dad and mom. But being different and younger than everyone in her high school made her the number one subject of torment. And she knew that. But she didn't want it to happen again.

As Hiromi denied the fact that Kettaro wasn't creeping her out, he let out a short sigh of relief and perked a smile on his face. He was glad because she seemed to be so distant. However, Kettaro will close that distance and make her feel comfortable. The blonde moved his head slightly downward and gazed at the girl before giving her a reassuring smile.
He observed her face and it seemed as if she was... having a fight with herself? "At this rate, I'm going to take note that Hiromi is a girl who enjoys struggling with herself~" He pretended to announce obnoxiously, winking at her. He added, "It seems you're having trouble with the faces you're making, Hiromi. Tell me what's on your mind~" As stated before, the male only wished she was able to free herself.
The longer he observed her, the more he found out how hesitant and shy she was. Kettaro showed his pearly whites as Hiromi said his name was nice. The male had always thought his name brings trouble, so it was a reassurance for himself. Hiromi's speeches seem to have slight pauses in them and he wonders if she was new to the language or she was too shy to speak.
"Second year for me too. I'm majoring in Acting...and you?"
Kettaro perked up on his chair once he heard that she was a fellow second year. He went close to her face, observing it even more. "Huh----You're majoring in Acting?! That's great, fellow second year! You're cute and honest, of course you would do well. And as for me, I'm majoring in singing!" The blonde let out an audible soft laughter for the other female and looked down for a second. Their hands were still connected. He blushed and nervously stood up, releasing the warmth. "...I'm so sorry! I-- I didn't mean...for the...h-hands... Sorry, Hiromi!" He bowed several times, thinking he was rude for holding it for that long. "She probably didn't want to sound mean and held it against me. She probably hates me, ergh! Geez...!" He was now having a struggle with himself and his thoughts.

As she caught the reassuring smile, she felt much better. Different, as if she had wings. She was cute, now, wasn't she? And he made her feel that way.
"At this rate, I'm going to take note that Hiromi is a girl who enjoys struggling with herself~" "N-No I'm just thinking!" Hiromi scowled jokingly. Well, she had a lot of things on her mind. Did Kettaro even like her? Would they go out? Ahhh.
"It seems you're having trouble with the faces you're making, Hiromi. Tell me what's on your mind~" Was she really that easy to read? She inwardly groaned and shook her head, flushing, she answered "You don't want to know what I'm thinking..." She didn't even want to know what she was thinking.
At first he stayed the normal distance away from her as she was speaking, and then he got closer and closer as he got excited... Well, they were pretty close. She blushed again and cursed herself for acting weird.
"Huh----You're majoring in Acting?! That's great, fellow second year! You're cute and honest, of course you would do well. And as for me, I'm majoring in singing!" She smiled, happier that he was also a second year. She already knew from what he said first, but still. It was nice to see him so happy. But then...he was majoring in singing, she gasped and smiled, putting her hands to her cheeks in adoration. "Really? Singing? That's amazing!" She said happily. "You sure have the looks...I'd really like to hear you sing one day. I can't sing myself, so I always adored people singing here." It was true. She couldn't sing for her life, so don't say she could improve. Her singing voice will want to make you rip out your ears and wish tha--okay, maybe it's not that bad. But still.
She looked down at the same time to their connected hands and blushed as well. As he let go, she felt a bit sad at that. She quickly began to like the boy, so holding hands was a major advancement for her to accept. She giggled at his nervousness and shook her head and waved her hand as to tell him to sit down. "It's fine, Kettaro." She said and smiled. "It was actually kind of nice." Which was the truth, I really can't stress how she never made contact with boys outside of her acting, which was always fake emotions, right? She never paid attention to it. And because of that lack of contact, she never held a boys' hand, and ... She stared at him observantly and smiled wryly. "It seems I'm not the only that struggles with themself." Hiromi said and her eyes danced with laughter. He was really making her feel better and better, happier and happier. "So what are you thinking about?" She asked curiously. And silently made a deal, that if he told her, she would tell him what she was thinking about earlier.
Ironically, the computer stayed on, though completely forgotten as far as it is.

Kettaro watched as Hiromi deny his tease. He chuckled at the sight of the denying girl. The blonde was glad she has opened up a little. He sat, placing his elbow on the table and placed his chin in his hand, looking straight into Hiromi's eyes with a smile. "Ahaha! No need to get so aggressive, Hiromi~"
After asking the female what she had in mind, he paused. Kettaro then heard a small voice that broke the silence. "You don't want to know what I'm thinking..." was the reply he received. He frowned at that, loosening his muscles in his face. It wasn't a disappointed frown, but it was more of a relaxed posture to his face. He didn't say anything, only looked into her eyes to try and read her mind.
And then it was like she became more feminine. Her adoration pose was cute. As soon as she said Kettaro had the looks, he blushed. He had to look away for a quick second before looking back at her seriously. "I-- Thank you very much! Ah, I promise I'll let you hear me sing, eheh. I'll let the whole world hear me sing!" He boasted proudly, when in reality, he would be nothing without his voice. Singing was all Kettaro was good at. He would love it if he had people who knew him heard his voice.
As she giggled at Kettaro's nervousness and waved her hand tell him to sit down, he calmed down and listened. He sat down as if it was a master telling it's pet to sit. He began provoking her once she said that holding hands felt nice. "Nice? Hahaha! Then, you wouldn't mind if I took your hands again?" He pushed his forehead close to her forehead so it was touching. "Would you think holding my hands would be nice then, Hiromi?" But then he leaned back and laughed. The blonde fixed his bangs before saying anything else.
Kettaro was taken aback once his question was shot back to him. He stuttered while looking away now. "W-Would you look at that?! The computer's done and loaded~ !" He wouldn't let her know what was on his mind, just like how she did with him.

Second by second. Second by second. She was starting to reveal more and more of her true personality, and starting to like him as well. "You're the one that's making me--" She stopped, blushing again, she really sucked at comebacks, didn't she? He just stared at her smiling. She looked away for a second, trying to gain her serious expression back.
As he stared back at her, she frowned as well, more confused than sad, and tilted her head in confusion. "w-what are you trying to accomplish by staring at my eyes all day..?" She asked, becoming a little unnerved by the stare plus the look he was giving her.
She kept her adoration pose and smiles. "Ahh! You'll have so much fans and you'll be so fashionable...oh wait you already are...and then you'll be living a life of luxury with all those riches.." She rambled on and on about the positive side of singing. She was sure he sung great, though she hadn't heard his singing voice already, she already knew what his voice sounded like. A little rough, but masculine and smooth, with a casual edge to it. And she didn't really know the negative side to most things either, because though she didn't have the easiest childhood either, she didn't have to live through the negative side of most things because of how she used her talent. "And then I'll be able to say to all my..." She pauses for a second, thinking if she should use friends or acqaintances. She didn't make much friends or had any family left. "...friends, that I knew you in the academy!" She said and smiled. Though honestly hoping it wouldn't become a 'knew'.
Then she frowned a bit and looked at him a little more closely. "By the way..." She started. "Why do you always turn around whenever I compliment you...? Is it bad? Did I say something wrong? Am I weird? Do you hate me?" She asked frantically, hoping she wasn't making him hate her. Obedience. He clearly showed that when nervous. Was this something she should note? For future reference in case she needed to use it? Okay, she noted that Kettaro would most likely obey you when extremely nervous or feeling as if he offended you. She giggled at the thought. But then the second he sat down, he seemed to bounce back to his usual self, she could see it in his eyes.
"Nice? Hahaha! Then, you wouldn't mind if I took your hands again?" "I-I...uh..." She looked at him a little sheepishly, wondering if she should respond truthfully. "I-I...!" She could only start but then shut up as quickly as he touched her forehead with hers. She almost fainted. Her small bit of androphobia was starting to come forth. However, she still blushed a light pink, starting to become darker and more visibly on her cheeks. She couldn't help it, she fell back in surprise and let out a small yell of her trepidation in possibly hurting herself. In a split second, she felt the pressure in her back build up, until she actually hit the back of the chair next to her, not very hard, but then began to fall backwards in the empty space of the pushed in chair and her side of the chair pushed outwards. She instinctively grabbed for something, and grabbed his hand again. This time, she knew she did, but she held onto it for support.
