Character(s): Yuuta Aiyagawa & Kettaro Sawashiro Time: 8:05AM Location: Staff Dorms |D All-nighters weren't uncommon, even at the start of the term. There were lesson plans to be made and it didn't help that he handled twice as much since his first year teaching. He used to complain to himself often but as he finished his freshman year of teaching those complaints started to die down one by one, which were, to say the least, early signs of the profession starting to get to him. The pay was still okay given all the labor. Most people thought that since he taught beginner's drama for free he would've flipped out and just up and quit because of still getting the one-subject teacher's pay --but he didn't and managed to find the fulfillment in teaching despite that.
Although sometimes he would forget because it was in his nature to do so. It was easy for Yuuta to black out certain bits of information no matter the degree of importance, should he fail to write it down or just do it in general. That was true especially for the little things like alarm clocks.
Blasted alarm clocks, but he couldn't curse that right now since he wasn't exactly aware that it was supposed to be ringing in the first place. He wasn't even awake to do that either.
Yuuta curled into his sheets, nuzzled into his pillow and muttered lightly in his sleep about silly things like old High School friends that smelled like pancake syrup and men's cologne, completely oblivious to the responsibilities he needed to attend to about twenty-minutes ago.

It was early in the morning and Kettaro flipped the cover, thinking he had to go to school. The blonde had a panic expression on his face as he jumped off his top bunk, not even thinking if his roommate was still asleep or not. He just thought he was late. The male brushed his teeth, put on the school uniform, and dashed out the door. Kettaro didn't know what day it was-- he began running down the empty stairs. Wait. Empty? He turned his head and looked everywhere. He would find a couple of early birds in their casual wear and it all clicked. There was no school today. It was a weekend for himself.
Or was this weekend that free? He began to groan as he remembered the days before.
Earlier during the week, he received his test scores back from his English teacher. And of course, Kettaro was failing. He failed not only because he skipped, but also because he wasn't too good at English. He was so disappointed in his test scores that he began showing up to class, but that did no good. He still had the worst study habit and test taking skills.

It was late was an understatement. By the time Yuuta had thrown off the covers, food wasn't even an option anymore, at least for the sake of the nearly non-existent professionalism he was showing. He distinctly remembered that the time he had set for the extra reviews he said he would give to one of his students would be today and very early in the morning. It wasn't all too late into it but he figured it wouldn't be a good example to set if he couldn't back his claims up with the way he acted.
He found himself a new shirt to wear, trying to look decent without a bath. At least he had set out the review materials on his desk before he went to bed and he wouldn't have to worry bustling about the place to actually find them anymore --but it was when he caught sight of them that he realized he wasn't the only one that was late.
Frowning slightly, he threw a light jacket over himself and walked around hallways and down stairs with a confused expression. He wasn't entirely bad at remembering people, but he wasn't the best at it either but this was Japan and though there were a lot of eccentric types in Aozora, he only had one student with blond hair.
With hairpins too.
"Sawashiro." He called out from behind the boy as he jogged up to him. "You're late."
Yuuta felt less remorse over waking up late, when circumstances proved that this is kid was at fault.

Kettaro saw his teacher and picked up his pace. Next thin you know, he's jogging towards the teacher. "Sawashiro." He heard the older male call out and met eyes. Along came the following, "You're late."
Kettaro flinched hearing those words and flapped his fingers in the air. "Pfft, Aiyagawa-sensei! How could I be late for just a meer English tutor session? Impossible, impossible~"
He looked at his teacher and smirked. He exaggerated his movements and pretended he was a frail character. "I'm kidding. Now... take me away, oh, great teaching master~!" With that, he moved the back of his hand towards his forehead and leaned close to his teacher.
"How will Aiyagawa-sensei teach the young student?! Give me those powers that will make me pass English class------!" And he snickered at the fact that he found himself to be so odd. It was no wonder people tried to avoid him as best they can.

He let a first sigh of the day go, grabbing the boy by the wrist.
Yuuta was used to this kind of behavior and idly wondered if Kettaro would ever fall out of it eventually and gain a good ounce of maturity before graduating.
"I'm kidding. Now... take me away, oh, great teaching master~!"
And then there was that --and doubt that any of his idle thoughts would ever take place, at least, in the near future.
"Let's not waste time then. I still have things to check and other important things to do. And no, there are no powers involved unless you consider will-power because you're going to be needing a lot of it this morning."
Yuuta lead the way back to the staff dormitory, feeling so old when he came to terms with the sort of stuff he would say now. He wasn't much different back in High School but actually having the authority to talk to younger people like he knew what he was doing felt weird, to say the least. Even more so when it came to handling this delinquent.
He left it unlocked and opened the door without the hassle of having to fish keys out of his pocket.
"Make yourself at home." He closed the door, shrugged his jacket off and threw it over to the bed as he pondered over his words.
"But not too much."

Kettaro's mouth opened slightly when he felt the older male's hand on his wrist. "H-Hey! That's no fun, Aiyagawa-sensei ~" The blonde pouted and looked up at his English teacher. He tried giving his teacher the 'don't-hurt-me-I'm-just-a-lost-puppy' look. Obviously, it didn't work, so he grinned with no shame.
"Let's not waste time then. I still have things to check and other important things to do. And no, there are no powers involved unless you consider will-power because you're going to be needing a lot of it this morning."
Kettaro threw his head back, with his bangs flying to the top of his head. He was aggravated that he had to spend a weekend with a teacher. "Aww... All right, all right, let's go have some student-teacher fun! Aiyagawa-sensei, catch up to me~ !"
Once they were at the staff dormitory, the blonde whistled the impressive tune. He is at another large building that appears to have a maze inside. As soon as Kettaro was led to his teachers room, he strutted in, yelling, "I'm home, Ai-kun!" He was pretending as if he was the wife of his english teacher.
Kettaro paused his playful manner and looked at Yuuta take his jacket off. He just looked at his teacher as if he's never seen him strip before him. Wait... he never did. "Whoa--Aiyagawa-sensei..." And then the blonde became speechless and blushed. He looked away, but he couldn't resist to glance back a couple of times.
"...I already feel welcomed," Kettaro mumbled. And with that, he still had a flustering face, avoiding eye contact.

Yuuta didn't bat an eyelash at the kid's antics at first until they had entered the room.
"I'm home, Ai-kun!"
Those words struck all sorts of chords in him, mostly ones that took him back to High School, because he knew of only one person aside from his mother who called him that and though he was well aware that Kettaro was much younger than that one person who would use that on him, jokingly or not, it felt rather nice to hear it again. The slightest of smiles made its to his lips as he walked over to where the boy stood.
"Let's not get ahead of ourselves." He placed a hand on the boy's head and ruffled his hair, like he used to do with his brother. "But if you wish to, you can address me as that here. In this room. Nowhere else. And just for today."
He took his hand back as he glanced around the room, remembering something he'd forgotten to do before having to find him.
"Ah, right. I haven't eaten breakfast yet, have you?"

Kettaro caught Yuuta's smile and looked immediately away. It wasn't a sudden movement of awkwardness, but Kettaro wouldn't let a small smile ruin his fun. He began to wonder how long his tutor session will be.
And then his head was being ruffled, messing up his hair pins. The blonde was startled and announced out loudly, "H-Hey! My... pins...!" He tried mumbling the word pins just in case his teacher would think he was weird. But then Kettaro heard the other male speak up.
"But if you wish to, you can address me as that here. In this room. Nowhere else. And just for today."
"Oh?! All right then, Ai-kun! Address me as you wish, master." The blonde had a mischievous face planted on. And with that, he snickered and skipped off to sit at the awaiting table.
"Ah, right. I haven't eaten breakfast yet, have you?"
"No ~ Wait-- You can cook?! Haha, you would make a lovely husband! Wow! A teacher and a cook, hah!" Kettaro sat, smiling at his teacher. The relationship didn't feel like a teacher-student one, though. It felt like friends or something of the sort.

Yuuta chuckled at the boy's reaction, refraining from doing so again just for kicks.
It was the weekend and Yuuta wasn't about to ruin it by sticking to being the guy who scolded you in class for yawning. He was honestly pretty lax outside of it but since nobody ever really hung around him long enough to figur that much out (aside from the rest of the faculty) he was often reputed to be as somebody so serious or at least, without a sense of humor.
"Oh?! All right then, Ai-kun! Address me as you wish, master."
Should he had been drinking, Yuuta might've choked and died by now. Instead he furrowed his eyebrows and tried to ignore the way a beat had missed a landing.
"Sawashiro, I'm not entirely sure if I should find your advances flattering or inappropriate." Before he could continue with what was supposed to be a lecture on addressing people Kettaro had shuffled over to his desk.
"No ~ Wait-- You can cook?! Haha, you would make a lovely husband! Wow! A teacher and a cook, hah!"
Yuuta shook his head at that and almost felt remorseful for his lack of skill.
"I was going to offer your an already made sandwich or some cereal and-- I...husband?" The last time heard that was from his mother. And his mother wasn't talking about how much of a good one he'd make but then Kettaro had said that delusioned into thinking he was good at cooking so.
"Did I shatter a fantasy of yours by admitting I couldn't?" He met the smile with a smirk.
Honestly, Kettaro wasn't that much younger which made it at least a little bit okay (and a little easier) to be friends. As long as no boundaries were overstepped after that one, then he should be fine. They were both guys after all, what's the worst that could happen?

Kettaro hues glistened as he watched Yuuta chuckled. Yuuta sure did make a good role model. He observed his English teacher the whole time until Kettaro broke the silence. It was then that the teacher furrowed his brows. "So teachers have souls, huh? Interesting..." Kettaro thought.
"Sawashiro, I'm not entirely sure if I should find your advances flattering or inappropriate." "Blah, blah, BLAH! Aiyagawa-sensei! C'mon, let's do something together~" Kettaro said while rocking back and forth on his bottom bum. And then Yuuta denied his assumption on him knowing how to cook. The blonde shook his head and proceeded to praise Yuuta. "It's not shattered at all! I have such a good looking teacher, after all!" He concluded his fantasy with a beaming smile.
However, after quite a wait, Kettaro gave him a frown and walked up to his loving teacher. Kettaro started pinching his cheek and laughed. "Haha, sorry, Ai-kun~ I got bored waiting for you..."

"Do something togther? Like what?" He asked as he went through his cabinets, having trouble reaching the top most ones without his shirt riding up.
"It's not shattered at all! I have such a good looking teacher, after all!"
Yuuta sighed and smiled a little, knowing he was out of view. "You really don't have an idea of when to stop, don't you?--thank you, I guess? I miss being young though. So enjoy your youth and being young and good looking now." He frowned then a little, looking over his shoulder.
"Hey, I don't have any decent breakfast food but I have cold sandwiches and some soda." He moved to the refrigerator and brought out said food items and set them on a nearby table, contemplating on what he should do. Not noticing a presence closer to him again, he accidentally turned as his cheek was being pinched and caught himself before he could hit heads with the teenager.
"That should be fine." He said, not paying so much attention to the hand pinching his face and grinned a little as he poked the younger (and shorter) Kettaro on the cheek.
"And think about it, what's a good looking person good for besides looking? Like I said, you're young." He put a hand atop the boy's head and looked him in the eye as he spoke, his attention to personal space not quite present at the moment. "And good looking and not to mention, talented. Take advantage of that."
Talk about a million things to make him feel old. Yuuta was scolding himself in his head for sounding like such an old man at just twenty-four but for reason, today was starting to be a weird one.

Yuuta's shirt was rising, show his midriff as he was reaching for food. A tint of pink began covering Kettaro's face as he was checking his teacher out unintentionally. Is this guy trying to seduce me or something?! I mean, look at him...!
"Do something together? Like what?" "Uh..." he lost his thoughts. "... O-Oh! Like fun English games or something! Do you know any, Ai-kun~?"
Kettaro grinned when his teacher accepted his compliment earlier. But then his grin turned into a stubborn frown. "Pfft-- you sound so old! I'm pretty sure you're not like twenty years older than me, Ai-kun~ ...Not like age really matters to me..." he managed to mutter out the last part.
"Hey, I don't have any decent breakfast food but I have cold sandwiches and some soda." "I'll take 'em all!" Kettaro exclaimed as he released Yuuta's cheek and went for the food. The blonde began speaking again, "Hey, what're you going to tutor me on anyw--" he winced from the poke the older male was giving him.
"And think about it, what's a good looking person good for besides looking? Like I said, you're young." When Yuuta placed a hand atop Kettaro's head, he looked back at him with admirable eyes. "...And good looking and not to mention, talented. Take advantage of that." "Uwah, Ai-kun thinks I'm good looking!? H-How should I react to this?~" he teased his teacher before grabbing and stuffing the food in his mouth.

"Nope, I was actually only going to make you read an essay and then write a short paper on it for today since most of the material is the faculty room." He looked at the chair Kettaro was supposed to be seated on right now, having been reminded of the stuff they had to do. Yuuta decided it wasn't good to make the boy suffer so much during the weekend so he cut back the three essays into just one but didn't say anything about it (or how much the boy's comment on how he couldn't be 20 years older than him played a huge factor in that decision) it was true that he wasn't that much older but he still had trouble accepting trivial facts like that.
"Uwah, Ai-kun thinks I'm good looking!? H-How should I react to this?~"
"It's a compliment, a thank you is a good start." He responded, watching the boy eat. He took a soda for himself, popped the can open and waited for the fizz to subside for gulping down the grape-flavored beverage.
"I can't keep you here all day, you know. When you finish eating you can get started with the work. It won't take too long and I'm pretty sure you're itching to go and frolic around with people your own age." He set the can down and sat himself on the bed as he only had one chair in the entire room and that was the one Kettaro would have to sit on when he actually got to work.

"Make me read a short essay?! Ugh-- Okay, okay! Actually, I'll be done pretty quick if it's only one essay, then..." Kettaro smiled at his teacher giving him an almost promising look. It was like he heard his prayers the day Yuuta told him to stay with him for extra help. But English... just wasn't Kettaro's thing. "Ai-kun, how are these essays going to help with my English? What if I gave you an oral presentation?" he bit his bottom lip and nervously stared at the short essay.
"It's a compliment, a thank you is a good start." The blonde laughed at the obvious answer and grinned. "Ahaha! I like that. Well, thanks! And thanks for the food~!"
Kettaro continued stuffing his mouth with the food. He drowned the cold sandwiches down with the soda he grabbed on the table and gulped it all down. Being a messy eater he is, some of the food was left all over his mouth area.
"I can't keep you here all day, you know. When you finish eating you can get started with the work. It won't take too long and I'm pretty sure you're itching to go and frolic around with people your own age." Kettaro gave his teacher a frown and sat down. "... Hey, Aiyagawa-sensei," he dropped the playful act for a bit. "Are you jealous?" He eyed his teacher, wondering if he was jealous of his youth. Age really didn't matter to Kettaro either way. He added, "... Did you want to spend the whole day with me!? I don't mind, Ai-kun~ We can have fun after my work is done!"
With that, he took out a pencil from the nearby holder and settled it aside him.
